Ohne mich. Ich werde immer wieder gerne hier nächtigen.

The Kitchen Presents Sophisticated Dishes And Innovative Creations
We stayed a few days and had our wedding there. The setting is beautiful. The garden is a mixture of herbs, wild flowers and lush ornamentals. We could sit on the terrace in the garden. The food, a buffet was excellent and so were the accompanying wines. In the mornings we had a very generous breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

I stopped on my way through to Alsace and wished Iâd continued on to eat in France. The goulash soup was tasty, but extremely filling as it had so much meat and other items in it that it was more like chili than any goulash soup Iâve had before. In Germany, white asparagus with boiled potatoes and hollandaise is nearly a regional tradition. There are âSpargel-Karteâ in many restaurants listing the seasonal dishes featuring this well-loved specialty food. So, you usually can get excellent white asparagus dishes almost anywhere that offers them. This was literally the most over-cooked asparagus I have even been served â then it wasnât drained properly so the hollandaise was immediately diluted by the standing cooking water. What a disappointment for my last chance to eat Spargel this Spargelzeit.

This is a really wonderful place. Their wines (home production) are excellent and organic as well. The food is extremely tasty, the sunny garden has the best view in town, over the vineyards. Lovely owners. Their Stube is so cosy! Location a bit hidden, at the end of the village, in Germany but right on the French border. Worth many a visit!

Dear guests, the Pfalzer potatoes for the fried potatoes, the meat for the Saumagen, the milk for the cheese and even the bread at your table, all these products come from our region close by. Local kitchen food, fresh made, with a lot of experience and a

We visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay for lunch, each time with friends and they all loved their food. As we could not read the menu we stuck to the menu of the day which was hearty and filling. The garden is well shaded with the trees, although some of the tables are under a canopy or umbrella. Friday nights are BBQ night which we would have loved to visit but time did not permit. The staff were all very helpful and tried to explain the menu to us.

This is a very nice dining experience. Sonnenberg offers a nice terrace for al fresco dinner in summer. Views from the terrace over the Rhine valley and the local vineyards alone are absolutely worth visiting this place for. Food is excellent, fresh and local, and vegetarians are particularly well catered for. Flammkuchen is available! The salad bar is exceptional.Service is very friendly. In all: Sonnenberg is worth traveling to!

We ate with a large family group. Despite weeks of advance notice, the staff was not prepared for 18 guests. All menu items were at least average, and most above average. The wines were also at least average and most better. The indoor dining area features an open hearth in a quaint, rustic setting. The garden seating looked nice, but in January, it was not an option.
