We haven't got to travel to this restaurant: We do live here.We went t here because they offer a good prize for lunch: excellent meal, low prize. My wife is not fond of birds' feathers and since they show them on the walls we haven't been there for a very long time.. Anyway t his time we enjoyed service and meals thoroughly.

I really liked this small, traditional and friendly place. We stayed three nights, and the help from Ines and her cheerful team was great (and all were very patient with my very limited German). The immediate area is lovely, both the village of Criewen and (the object of our trip) the Unteres Odertal national park just over the canal bridge two minutes from the inn. We had hired bikes and the cycling around here was excellent (and easy because it's mostly so flat). We had food here at Zur Linde one night and it was pretty good, and our breakfasts were simple, but perfectly satisfactory. Our (twin) room was simple but spacious, and sleeping easy not least because the area is so quiet. All in all, a very lovely place.

We were lucky to find a table, it was busy. Despite that, service time was good, waiters friendly and helpfull (drying the table and chairs after the thunderstorm....).Nice terrace, good menu and well prepared for a fair price. Recommended!
