Nach längerer Zeit haben wir hier wieder einmal Einkehr gehalten. Leider ist es nicht besser geworden, sondern noch mehr nachgelassen. Die Servicekräfte sehr leger und kümmern sich erst mal um Ihre eigenen Bedürfnisse. Das Essen lieblos ruckizucki am Tisch. Dafür lauwarm und Portionen sind auch deutlich kleiner geworden. Die einfachsten Gerichte bereits um 12.30 Uhr aus und man weiÃt einen aber leider nicht darauf hin, so dass drei Mal neu gewählt werden musste! Geht das nicht mehr besser?

We loved this place. The food was great, atmosphere was relaxing. The waitress was very sweet & accommodating, she made sure we could read the menu & helped if we had any questions. The food came quickly & was delicious!

I have been here on November 21st 2014 and I was really hippy to have found this restaurant. Good food, excellent beer but the service was superb!! A very gentle woman Who let you feel yourself like at home. Everything was perfect included price. I recommend it to anyone to stop and live the same esperience I have lived.

I was lucky enough to eat at Baier with some friends in June,. The food was simple, clean and well prepared. My fish was simply delicious, tender and fresh. The other Bavarian dishes we tried were all well prepared, and the setting on the river lovely...just remember to wear mosquito repellant in the summer. I would not hesitate to go back if I was to visit Schwandorf again.

Pizzeria Portofino is a hidden jem for us ! We're a large group of 13 went there for lunch. The restaurant is near to bahnhof and surrounding is very quiet & beautiful. The food is really delicious and service is prompt. We've tried Spaghetti Bolognia Style, Noodle, Beef Pizza and Pizza With Mushroom. Well, the cost of food is really reasonable. As usually, Bavarian Beer is the best and had drink a few glass at restaurant. Altogether, we had a great yummy lunch and shall try to be there again in my next trip :)

Ein schönes uriges Haus mit gemütlicher Einrichtung. Leider kamen wir wohl viel zu spät (13 Uhr) erst nach der dritten Bestellung hatten wir was zum Essen, das es überhaupt noch gab... alles andere war schon aus (das hätte man doch vorher sagen können...) aber nun gut, das essen gue bürgerliche Küche war einfach und normaler Durschschnitt. Es gibt schon einige Gasthäuser in der Umgebung, die in ihrer Küche, wie im Service besser und günstiger sind. Aber das Bier war klasse und eiskalt!

My friends and I find this place very nice and with a great atmosphere. The food was good and the wine too. The service was outstanding. Sabine, the waitress, is very friendly. I recommend this place in the centre of Schwandorf.

We stopped at this restaurant on our way from Prague to Munich to have some lunch, the staff were quite welcoming and provided us with an English language menu, the food was quite good and there were many choices, The portions were generous in size and both the presentation and quality of the food were above standard. They do not accept credit cards and you must get there before 2 p.m. As they close from 2 to 4 p.m. Parking available nearby.
