Our family took us here twice while we were in Midvale. So glad we went. The food, atmosphere and staff were amazing. Loved the garlic fries and bread pudding.Would definitely go again. They do have gluten free options.

I really enjoyed my blackberry brandy chicken. It wasn't what I was looking for (was leaning towards the schnitzel), but it was something different and turned out to be a great choice. The beer here is okay. I attribute that to the strange alcohol laws in UT and also they had mostly lagers and I prefer ales, but they were still a good supplement to dinner. I was told the pierogies are excellent too, but I did not try them (I was full from the main dish).

Robert Britton's Diner has changed Hands and is being remade with "German Specialties." Schnitzel and Eggs for Breakfast? Why not? Bratwurst or even better, Currywurst? Nice to have in Sandy... This is all somewhat new and they are working the Kinks out. I had a Bowl of Goulash for Breakfast that was about three times too salty. Our Schnitzel for Lunch was slightly over-cooked, and so dry. Maybe try the Jäger Schnitzel with mushroom gravy instead? The Spätzle was tasty and nicely done. The Red Cabbage was canned--not fresh. It will be worth another Try in a couple of Months to see if they have things more in order.
