Nous cherchions un endroit pour nous restaurer à 20h30 in mardi et cet établissement nous accueillit simplement et avec gentillesse. Un carte simple à petit prix et une ambiance d habitués.

Wir bestellten einen grossen gemischten Salat, 2 Bürger und ein Schnitzel. Es war wirklich lecker, der Salat war gross und frisch, die Getränke freundlicherweise alle über die Eichmarke eingefüllt.Normales Ambiente, für eine Sportgaststätte gut, das Personal freundlich.Wir wollen wiederkommen.

After a visit at the wonderful Wellness Park Resort with its baths in brine water this is a good place to have a light meal.

I stayed at the guesthouse and naturally had dinner at the Beuggen 1 restaurant. First of all the service was just wonderful: friendly and knowledgeable. Their beer was excellent. And since it was Pfifferling (chanterelle) season, I had the salad with warm chanterelles: excellent! After a good pause I had the classic Leberkaese (liver meatloaf) with potato salad and fried egg, a typical, hearty dish from my past. The only curious fact is that a half liter (0.5 l) of beer was cheaper than 0.2 l of water. It's not uncommon in Germany where it seems impossible to just get tap water which of course is perfectly good to drink and often tastes better than the lukewarm mineral water that is served from a bottle. But I guess one needs to notice that one is in another country ...

Cosy German restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and good food.My partner really enjoyed her vegetarian meal (which is usually a good test of how good the cook is). I had a fantastic piece of beef with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. It was supposed to come with Duchess Potatoes, but they swapped those for chips (french fries) to accommodate my need for a gluten-free meal; this was all done without any fuss or trouble.If you are in or near Todtmoos, do visit!

Wunderschöner Biergarten, etwas versteckt gelegen. Wer ihn gefunden hat, kommt gerne wieder. Der Service ist gut, die Speise- u Getränkekarte bietet für jeden etwas bei zivilen Preisen. Wir hatten Fondue Chinoise, sehr gut!! Ãffnungszeiten beachten!

Somewhat hidden in a small village is this nice restaurant. Interesting menu with entirely locally sourced, mostly organic ingredients. A good balance of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Mains around 15-20 Euros.Everything was well presented and prepared, tasteful and generous portions. The chef is passionate and comes out to speak to guests. We couldn't decide on the main dish, so he gave us a little taste of the one we didn't choose.Will be back when in the area again, worth a detour !

Located in the village of Obereichsel, the Café Elke is a very popular restaurant with a large terrace overlooking a lovely valley. We had both lunch and dinner there and found the quality very good. Service at lunch was a little brisk, perhaps we had caught the owner on a bad day, but other staff were charming and helpful.I got the impression that there were tables with great views for regulars and that passing trade was relegated to the lesser tables....hmmmm.
