Very busy place and booking is strongly recommended - though if 8pm or later is ok then you shouldn't have too much trouble. Entering through a huge heavy door is dramatic and the sight that greets you is wunderbar. Cosy, noisy, bustle, great lighting, interesting spaces - it's impressive. Walk across the first space and up a few steps to find the maitre d who was very efficient with the enormous reservations list - alles in ordnung hier!Good food, very reasonably priced and mostly locals enjoying themselves. What more could you want? Christopher Thum
Waren wieder einmal hier.

This place gets everything right.....food, setting, atmosphere, service and price. The food is absolutely delicious. The menu is huge, the choice is amazing. There is a very large fish section and lots and lots of game.....it's a hunter's restaurant. There is good beer and great local wine. The restaurant is in the medieval section of town, steeped in history and full of character. The staff don't speak good English but they couldn't try harder to help you choose well and have a wonderful dining experience. Not to be missed !

During a break in driving from Corfu to The Netherlands, we arrived lateish on during the evening. Booked into a little B&B not yet on Trip Advisor and needed something to eat. In the late evening drizzle we didn't want to walk too far but found a few restaurants in the centre of the small town on the wine route. Mostly because we saw a couple sitting outside eating we paid a visit to the Korner's Weinstusse owned and run by the Schmidt family. Fortunately our lovely female hostess could speak english and was able to help us in translating the menu. Typical bavarian fare and served in large portions washed down by a local Rotling wine. (The wine was so good we asked where it was sold and visited the wine merchant the following morning before leaving). Lots of dark wood and heavy set tables inside in the cosy restaurant. Definitely a must eat there again and maybe we will not be so tired and be able to do even more justice to the menu!

The pulse of Franconia beats in the heart of Wuerzburg. You can feel it ? Or rather taste it - in the historic surroundings of the Stachel, which is a restaurant and wine bar. As a wine bar, the Stachel offers the best wines in Franconia. There is wine ta
I am still dreaming of the wine soup and can't wait to return to Wurzburg to have it again! This place was worth the wait - we arrived without a reservation and had to return a half hour late. The staff were very pleasant the ambiance was wonderful in this old historic building. Great selection of local wines as well.

Wine-Bed-and Breakfast! We are proudly present a little cosy house, including a very specail "Wine-place" called Vinothek! We organized abhout 15 years, an "sustainable and rewainable" concept for a restaurant! One focus is the wine, witch comparse to the
This small restaurant feels like entering a different dimension and time, quirky and arty, they don't have a printed list, but a passionate and competent friendly guy who speaks good english, guiding you through the dishes of the day and recommending wines to suit your taste and the choice of food you made. Food and wine were delicious, we also bought a bottle of the wine I had to take home. Reasonable prices for the quality.Long ago! But thank you very much! Hope we See use sometime again! You Tiopolinos!

Driving the famous A3 from Italy or Salzburg to Munich to the North, Frankfurt, Ruhrgebiet, Netherlands or whatever, or the other way round, just south of Würzburg, take a break at a really genuine, cozy, high-quality Franconian restaurant! Take exit Würzburg-Randersacker and go to the village of that name; the Spiegelberg is easy to find and there is parking close by. A very short drive, but you are as far from the Autobahn as can be. As has been said here, excellent Franconian cuisine in an ambiance that people always hope for but then there are more tourists than locals. Not here! Great old guest room, great wines, great dishes. I would recommend especially the Zwiebelfleisch which I anyway like and which they do great. The owner is very friendly and the staff nice as well. Prices are not cheap but absolutely reasonable. The one thing I would not recommend is the terrace if you're a non-smoker. It is basically used as the smoking refuge of the restaurant, and it's not fun to sit there.

Maybe! My husband and I have been debating this, and I think it is. Fresh, flavorful, simple and so, so cheap. Why but grab one, sit on the square and people watch? (We actually shared one so we could also sample a healthier choice, a salad from a nearby spot, following!)

The Gasthof Baeren at Randersacker is owned by the family Morhard for around 130 years. The menues are traditionaly Franconian. The family trusts in local products, starting with venison and fish from the region and continues with vegetables from local fa
We came here recently whilst on a self-catering holiday. It was our first time in Randersacker, and we were first attracted by the beautiful building. Not eating meat can sometimes be a problem in restaurants, but the delicious food here, and high standard of service, had us visiting again and again. The vegetarian options included an amazingly good pasta dish, with a wine sauce, vegetables and grapes. So yummy I had it three times ! (not on the same night, not that greedy!). On our last night we ate in the candle light courtyard, and I managed room for a more than tasty dessert of plums and 'quark'. Was given a woollen blanket to wrap round me when it got chilly. It goes without saying that the wine was exceptional - as all wine from this small town near Wurzburg.

We were in Ewig Leben last Saturday 18.10.2015. We can highly recommend this Restaurant for the high standards of food, prices and attentive service. A great place to visit, very close to Wurzburg.
