I loved the food at this place. We were here for Spargel season (white Asparagus) and ate here a few nights. The food was ample and the service great. If in the area, I would eat dinner here again. The place is very old looking inside, but to me, it's part of the culture. If you are looking for good, local Baden food, this is a place you want to try.

Wer in der Ãberlinger Gegend Urlaub macht und leckeres vegetarisches bzw. veganes Essen sucht, der möge die halbe Stunde Fahrzeit in Kauf nehmen und sich an der Speisekarte erfreuen. Spinatknödel mit RoteBeteSpaghetti, KolrabiSpaghetti mit Nussbolognese, diverse Salate, Kichererbsennuggets, um nur einiges zu nennen.... und zum Abschluss noch einen Heidelbeerbecher?? .....alles sehr gut.Der Service ist flott, umsichtig, berät gut - kurzum, ein Lokal, das sehr zu empfehlen ist

TripAdvisor - the address is wrong and very misleading here. Based on your coordinates, we booked this to complement a stay at Heiligekreuztal. The address is actually a house, and no one in town had heard of the Restaurant, only one with the same name in nearby Wiflingen.Turns out this Restaurant is in Frickingen, Altheim,(post code 88699) yet you show it in Altheim postcode 88499 on your map.This resulted in a very embarassing experience where I had a very frustrating encounter with the Restaurant trying to find where they were, which was nowhere near where we were. It was disappointing as I was really looking Forward to go there - the Restaurant we ended up was nice, but more in a country style then what we had been anticipating

Durch eine spontane Campingaktion unserer Tochter mit Freundinen hat es uns nach Messkirch verschlagen, und wir waren begeistert. Falls unseren Girlies das Wetter einen Strich durch das Campingwochenenden machen sollte haben wir uns als Rückversicherung Im Rumpelstilzchen ein Ferienhaus mit Frühstück angemietet.Die Wirtsleute sind absolut liebenswert und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Das Frühstück wir nicht im Restaurant serviert sonder einzeln in der Ferienwohnung direkt serviert. Das ist wie im Grandhotel.Die Preise sind mehr als human und im Restaurant konnten wir herrlich urig am Buffet teilnehmen.Durch einen Wolkenbruch mussten wir den Zeltplatz tatsächlich überraschend räumen und die Wirtin hat spontan noch eine komplette Wohnung hergerichtet. Von so viel Fürsorge und Hilfsbereitschaft waren wir echt begeistert.Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.

Gemütliches Café mitten im Zentrum der kleinen Fachwerk-Stadt Pfullendorf. Möbel und Interieur sind im skandinavischen Stil und in weiss gehalten. Sehr nettes Personal. Leckere Kuchen und Torten, alles hausgemacht! Ausserdem stehen aussergewöhnliche Ice Teas und Schorlen auf der Karte! Bei regnerischem Wetter war es für uns ein sehr gemütlicher Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

das Stadt-Cafe mit dem schönen Biergarten, in einer ruhigen SeitenstraÃe im Pfullendorfer Zentrum strahlt eine sehr ruhige Atmosphäre aus. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bedienung war recht freundlich, und jedesmal mit einem lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen. Das Essen ist wirklich gut - und recht günstig. Kann ich jedem nur weiter empehlen, falls jemand in Pfullendorf ist.

The food from this restaurant is clearly all pre-processed. The soup was very salty, the potato salad tastes like it came from a can, etc. Nothing is homemade. Based in a cave/cellar under a hotel, this restaurant/pub has always been reliable and pleasant. The menu is not enormous in choices, but the servings are, and you won't leave hungry.Try the pork loin medallions with noodles and gravy, or the thin crust pizza. Some real classic dishes are available as well. All well prepared and plated. Good selection of great beers and wines.Service is good, especially given how busy it can get - go early or later to beat the crowds.Do walk around. You can go past the bar or take the back way. There is a map on most tables.
