Spontan haben wir uns für einen Kurztrip entschieden und wollten gut und frisch die Einheimischen Küche testen.Ãber Trip Advisor bin ich auf das Wirtshaus Zur Emerenz gestossen. Das Wirtshaus liegt in einer kleinen Ortschaft Schiefweg, nahe Waldkirchen. Ein etwas älteres Wirtshaus, welches sehr geschmackvoll im Eingang dekoriert ist. Man meint, man ist in einer Zeitmaschine mit dem Sprung in die Vergangenheit. Im kleinen und gemütliche Gastraum, wurden wir höfflich vom Service begrüÃt.Wir entschieden uns für eine Kürbissuppe und Rindersuppe als Vorspeise. Hauptspeise Rouladen mit Spätzle dazu Salat und Lachsforelle mit Gnocchi und Salat.Egal ob Vorspeise oder Hauptgerichte, es ist frisch zubereitet und fantastisch gut vom Geschmack. Im Anschluss noch einen Espresso und Cappuccino, sehr gut.War nach länger Zeit, wieder einmal ein gutes Wirtshaus.Preis / Leistung empfehlenswert.

ca. 5 km östlich von Waldkirchen gelegen am Ferienpark Jägerwiesen. GroÃes Restaurant mit überdachter Terrasse. Tradionelle Küche (von Cordon Bleu bis Schnitzel und Schweinebraten). Gute Qualität, üblicher Geschmack und Salat aus der Dose. Service nur mäÃig freundlich und alles geht auch ziemlich langsam bzw. dauert länger. War dort, weil ich im Ferienpark Jägerwiesen gewohnt habe, extra dahin wäre ich wohl nicht gefahren.

Wir waren mit ein paar Freunden auf der Durchreise und haben die Halt gemacht. Die Torte war super lecker! Dazu noch ein sehr guter KaffeeFaire Preise und sehr freundliches Personal, da gibt man gerne Trinkgeld!Jederzeit wieder!

Waren auf dem Schaukelweg unterwegs und anschlieÃend hier Essen. Alles war sehr gut, die Bedienung sehr fix trotz ordentlich Betrieb und vor allem sehr freundlich. Kann man absolut empfehlen. Für die Kleinen sind Rutsche, Schaukel etc. vorhanden

Innovatively conceived and exquisitely prepared dishes from the all-star team of Michael Reis. Service is both top-notch and friendly. Many fantastic "GrüÃen aus der Küche" that are as much works of art as they are culinary delights. Absolutely worth the trip out to scenic Waldkirchen.

excellent food, prepared with local ingredients, beef from there own cows,menu has around 10 starters and 10 main dishes, meat perfectly done, wonderful sauces, owner takes time to introduce the dishes on the menu himselfspecial recommendation for their home made smoked "Speck"

After a long walk we has lunch at this gasthof. A very large bowl of homemade green pea soup and a sausages with bread. It tasted great and we got renewed energy to walk just a little bit more. There is a terrace with a great view.

Stopped here while on a cycling trip along the Adalbert-Stifter path -- a rails to trails dirt path for walkers and cyclists. Lovely little restaurant with nice tables for outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating too. Owners provided lunch for us with radlers to cool us off after a hot and dusty ride. Great selection of traditional foods--schnitzel, sausages, soups and more. Nice place to take a rest. Even met the local Burgermeisters! (Mayors)

We found this restaurant purely accidentally, traveling in a BT from Germany to the Czech Republic and back. It happened that we had to check something at the car with which we were and we stopped in that parking lot. A little bit skeptics about a country side restaurant, we said, let's try to get in and let's eat something. why not. Well, we were impressed by the fast service and the good and tasty food. As somebody write here I will say "Surprisingly good food! How fortunate! The food more than enough and excellent"Yes, maybe we didn't understand the german from the menu, we know only few words in German, like schnitzel, butter, gemuse (which I was thinking that is mushrooms), the food was excellent,unbelievable taste and fast.Price was very good (something around 6 Euro) and 2 Euro for a good and nice served tee.The staff was very attentive with us and very kind. The entire restaurant and bathroom is very clean.I highly recommend this country inn and I hope that one day we will return there, not accidentally!

Terrrific local fare cooked to perfection by Germany's first Beer Sommelier! I had the venison goulash which was very good and a dining partner had the beer goulash which was beef and he also loved it. Breakfast is also terrific with eggs to order!
