Between the sun basing we decided to have a lunch. We were sitting outside and the terrace with a phantastic view over the lake. The staff were really friendly and we ordered a pizza, a Cesar salad with bacon and fish. For the drinks we took rose, still water and espresso The dishes were very tasty. The rose hat a great temperature . We enjoyed Vielen Dank für deine Einschätzung!

Very friendly service, tasty veggie food but a little too much like a meat-dish. Pleasant surroundings and a real "local" feel. I suspect the food is made to order - it seemed to take a while to arrive. Would be better with a wider choice for veggies, this is (afterall) in Connewitz.

Clean and crisp modern little restaurant with great food and friendly service. The soups are wonderful especially when it's so cold outside. On your next bike trip out to the lakes take a look in at" Rainers "

Zum Rosengarten is a family owned Restaurant in Lössnig, south of Leipzig. It has an all-year flair that invites you to a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is located in a quiet and green suburban area, easily reachable both by tram and by car. The terrace is a perfect place to enjoy a drink or a light meal during the summer, whereas the interior is of more elegant nature, suitable for occasions such as romantic dinners and various celebrations. The food is exquisite, ranging from typical german cuisine to various european dishes, and the wine selection is outstanding, including some exquisite Rhine-Hessian brands. Prices range from normal to mildly expensive, but the atmosphere and the food is well worth it.

It is a very nice restaurant serving traditional German food. It is located in the town of Markkleeberg, south of Leipzig. It takes 11 minutes to travel there from the Leipzig central station with the S-Bahn.

One of Leipzigâs landmarks is the Bayerischer Bahnhof. It was built in 1842 and is the oldest preserved head rail station in the world. It was the regionâs busiest hub for tradesmen and travellers.Today, the Bayerischer Bahnhof is famous for its hospitali
The best thing about this restaurant is its setting: the dining room and the beer garden was excellent, as was the service. Unfortunately there appears to be little competition in the way of German places to eat in Leipzig and the food, whilst being acceptable, is not great.

It turns out to be a very good choice for German food in a typical cellar environment, despote the rather limited menu.Service is fast and efficient, even when the place is busy, and food is quite good, but with portions too small for the price charged.Skip the cucumber suop, it tastes absolutely like nothing!

Really incredible food. Lots of options with standard German fare, as well as some dishes with interesting twists that were couched as âEastern Germanâ variants. Everything was expertly prepared, and well-plated. Environment was cool, outfitted in GDR kitsch â great place for a drink too. Service was great. If in town, Iâd put this place on your list.

We went for a family lunch. Atmosphere is very friendly, the location is well maintained and clean, the property itself a bit remote. The menu offeres all you need (incl. veg. options) and includes seasonal specials. The dishes have been arranged very nicely, however, the quality and the taste of the food did NOT satisfy me and did not rectify the prices. Most of the food I tasted was not seasoned enough and rather disappointing. Best dish was the Creme Brulee! If this would be improved, it could be a very good place.
