FAST FOOD with Quality. homemade burger ,homemade sauces. in order of good taste

I have been there last night and had heard good things but has the worst dining experience in this great city of Berlin.I was being lied at and when I informed management, the manager told me that he prefers regulars over random guests and also informed me that I was not being lied at, the person just chose not to tell the truth. Whatever subtle difference the manager may have perceived, I wholeheartedly disagree. The good thing is that Berlin has more to offer than such a hostile dining business and I have much better recommendations and will become a frequent guest with places that welcome their guests.

At times, we went in Winter, when we enjoyed the roasted goose. The last time, we went in late summer and enjoyed chanterelles (Pfifferlinge) with everything else. The pike (Zander), pie (Flammenkuchen), and Rumpsteak were all delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside under old chestnut trees.

While visiting our friends in Berlin, they wanted to take us out for a real German biergarten experience. They selected "Gasthaus Zur Eiche" and they were spot on.Since we had no prior reservations for our party of eight, we were happy to move some tables and chairs in the outdoor restaurant to accommodate us.The beer was, as expected, good and cold. The prices for our meals were quite moderate. The service, considering the surprise arrival of 8 hungry guests, was just fine. The food was excellent and plentiful. The menu was loaded with the German dishes that we craved. My wife had a delicious Sauerbraten and, since she was born and raised in Berlin, she thought it was great. I opted for a dish that isn't for everyone - Eisbein or pig shank. It is boiled and served with salzkartoffeln (boiled potatoes), herbsenpuree ( a puree of peas and bacon that was wonderful), sauerkraut and mustard. This shady spot, under the trees, was an ideal spot to wind down after a week of touring Berlin's inner city.I highly recommend a drive to the country for a visit to Gasthaus Zur eiche.

We had a family evening meal at Mutterwelt, and although the food was acceptable it wasn't particularly special. The service was also functional rather than friendly, possibly due to language differences, although we did not find this to be a problem with any other restaurant we visited in the area. The prices were also slightly higher than we would have expected for a meal of this standard. The people at two other tables had taken their dogs with them into the restaurant, one of which barked a lot, which also detracted from our evening, although this seemed to be the norm at Mutterwelt.

This tent close to the fields of typically white asparagus is only open during the short asparagus period. Don't expect a very professional service (friendly though)and don't expect a cosy atmosphere. But you may expect very good asparagus served with the usual ham and scrambled eggs. Many locals are enjoying their lunch (open until 7pm but please check again). Better make a reservation.

This small restaurant & cocktail bar was packed with locals & we soon discovered why. The food was fantastic & the owner took the time to patiently translate the entire - extensive! - menu into English for us. Next time my partner stays in Mahlow for work he is intending on bringing the rest of his crew here.
