We arrived past 8 o'clock in the evening and we're tired and hungry. Frau Wagner recommended us the restaurant and it was quite a nice surprise. Nice view over the Mosel, romantic ambiance. Delicious German food and nice wine (sweet red wine and very sweet dessert wine). Not very detailed menu, but that was not necessary. Lovely waitress who also tried to speak English and was patient when we tried speaking German. It was not cheap but also not that expensive (70â¬, 1 course, wine and water)

Restaurant Moselperle is located direct at the Mosel River in Wolf. Gasthaus Moselperle is family owned and operated.Furnishings and decoration provide a pleasant seventies atmosphere. At the terrace in the Biergarten you can dine. Service is adequate and friendly. The restaurant offers German cuisine with regional quality food and wine. We cane on a weekday in summer and the terrace was full, a good sign. At diner we were not disappointed. Food is well presented and tasty and the wine was nice. We recommend Moselperle restaurant to anyone who seeks good German food at a reasonable price.

First of all I would like to explain is that I am from The Netherlands, which means that English is not my native language. In advance I would like to apologies for any language and spelling errors in my review. I choose to write my reviews in English so many people can read or translate them.I have visited this restaurant several times over the last 5 years. There is so much to tell about this place that I almost do not know were to start. First of all this restaurant is open from 24th of March till the 23th of October. Along the Mosel area it is normal that a lot of restaurants, pubs etc. are closed when the tourist season is over. However the owners of the restaurant also have a party service, which is open all year. The manager of this gorgeous place is Kathrin and she does a great job. The staff is always more than friendly and they take all the time for their quests. From all the places were I have been to eat this is probably one of the cleanest. Everything you see, touch is fresh and clean. Even the toilets are spotless! The restaurant is located on a corner of a small road that leads you to a camping site and to the vineyards of Wolf. Wolf is the name of the small town were this restaurant is located. That is important to know because on the Internet you sometimes see Traben Trarbach as location for this restaurant. However Traben Trarbach is the district were the small town Wolf belongs to.The restaurant has a beautiful terrace with great view over the Mosel river. The menu has many small details of products that are homemade by the chef in this restaurant like Homemade potato walnutt bread.Besides great meat, home made Flammkuchen (that is German traditional pancake. It has a crust bottom, very thin, with different kind of layers on top like meat, cheese, vegetables. It is less fat and much more tasteful than a pizza) and fish they also have great vegetarian food. The fact that a lot of the food is homemade and is of very high quality, the location were it is, the wonderful ever helping staff together with the time and afford these people use to keep the whole place in perfect and more than clean state makes that this is one of the cheapest restaurants I know in this area.I will visit this restaurant tonight, the 24th of June, again this time with 4 people (my wife and two friends who are also from The Netherlands) and while I am typing this review I already look forward to my visit. And that is what a good place has to realize by their quests.

We celebrated our daughter's birthday here with a large group. The restaurant sent me a translated menu ahead of time and answered all my questions promptly. The food was delicious and they even brought out more pork medallions because they noticed that they looked too dry (even though no one was complaining!). The owner played "Happy Birthday" on his violin making the birthday extra special!

We came here for just a snack and some wines and we fell in love with this place. The food was great and reasonably priced, the wines were absolutely amazing and the location itself (especially the garden outside) have had a lot of love poured into them.

An average place on the Mosel River. We had a light lunch there recently. The food did not come on a timely basis. The servers were friendly enough. The salad we ordered had way too much dressing. The FederweiÃer wasn't very tasty either. It is a nice room and ambience. Given the competition this is an average place that could do better.

The âBelle Epoqueâ restaurant awaits you with a very warm welcome! The harmonious atmosphere, exquisite food and supreme wines will make your visit to the âBelle Epoqueâ and the âStübchenâ unforgettable. All dishes are specially prepared with products fre
This place checks all the boxes. My cousins husband reserved a table for 8 for dinner and everything from start to finish was amazing. We were seated near the front window overlooking the Mosel.Mr. Georg was our guy in charge and poured the best wines for each of our entrees. The chef is wonderful and creates great dishes, and everything that came out of the kitchen was a work of art.Started out with Creme Brulee of Goose Liver, then a cous cous dish, smoked filet of salmon, salad with the freshest tomatoes and sunflower seeds, braised ox, a selection of cheeses and a dessert to die for....everything was scrumptious and all came with a selection of wine. All this was thanks for my cousins husband who worked with the chef and Mr. Georg, and we all were ever grateful for the work they put into this meal. The atmosphere of Belle Epoque is beautiful, with art nouveau touches, a very grand dining experience!

A glorified greenhouse built in the courtyard of a house in the main village road (not the main road along the river), decorated with all things hexe (witch)-related. They serve excellent local wine (their own maybe? Most folks in this town are winemakers), and hearty interesting food to accompany it, all at sensible prices. Unfortunately I think their opening is limited to the good weather season (end of April to end of October), because I've been twice in March and April and they've been closed. A really great place.

The restaurant staff is great, very Friendly! The food is very tasty. Apart from the typical German pork, snitzel, etc, you can eat some nice pasta's as well. Both the interieur of the restaurant and the terrace are pleasant! It is better to make a reservation, because it can become quite busy some times!
