Find out what German restaurants to try in Kitzbuhel. One of Austria's most luxurious ski resorts, ritzy Kitzbühel, known as "Kitz," basks between the Hahnenkamm and Kitzbüheler Horn mountains. Every winter, Hahnenkamm's Streif slope is the site of one of the hardest downhill runs of the World Cup Ski Race. In summer, this Tirolean town sees tennis fans arrive in droves for the Austrian Open. Its winding, cobblestone medieval streets are packed with sports cars and upscale boutiques as Europe's glitterati descend on these hallowed slopes.

This is a must go too âbucket listâ venue for dinner. Yes, the apres ski party is lively early evening but the management close the Restaurant from 6pm and make it nice and cosy for dinner at 7:30 and wow what a dinner experience. Book early.

The Gasteigers have put real passion and hard work into creating this truly special small hotel. The only watch out is that access is by a 2 person chairlift that stops at 5pm .... but that is also part of the brilliance of this place. When the chair stops you find yourself totally isolated from bustling normality in this haven of tranquility and intimate comfort high above the clouds. The head chef Juergen is in my opinion a very gifted cook. Tyrolian dishes, perfectly seasoned, delightfully presented, sumptuously tasty. The staff are friendly and ... well just great. The wait staff, Lun and Ilya made our stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend Bichlalm, itâs a true treasure.

Nice place with seating outside but they should consider self service options. The two lads behind the bar & tending the front clearly have other careers as bar serving is not their first choice. Asking 3 times for a drink is not on with the strong competition in Kitzbuehl. Recomendations to Owner: Train the lads to take more than one order and not to clean tables when customers have no drinks. Otherwise release then back into the wild. Back from a journey into the wild to gather more staff. We get very busy most nights, so waiting times may happen.Luckily there is competition- so you have a wide variety of choices of other places where you might find yourself better looked after. We'd be happy to see you back anyway- I'm the manager and I'll gladly buy you a few tequilas for your inconvenience. You're on a holiday- relax!Hakuna Matata Adela

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Tiefenbrunner so eating here was quite convenient. In between gatherings with the group we were with in Kitzbühel we usually stopped here for meals. Our first meal was later in the evening the first day we were here. We had already completed our events for the day and settled in to the indoor part of the restaurant (the events had been outdoors so the patio was jammed). We had a beautiful table in a booth and had a great view of the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and she did an excellent job. We both had the Schweine Schnitzel entree (13,50 E each). The schnitzel itself was huge. It was nicely fried and had good flavor but was a bit dry, although it came with a fruit compote. It also came with parslied potatoes as a side. They must've been cooked in butter or a little fat as they had a wonderful flavor. I loved the Grüner Veltliner that the restaurant had (3,00 E each). We also ate twice on the patio after skiing. The patio seating was wonderful as we had interesting people watching and the seats had thick sheepskin covers. The seats were warm and comfortable. The one time we ate on the patio we had superb service, the second time the service was quite lacking. On the not-as-good time we had been seated for several minutes without menus or any attention from the server (a man). Then a family of four was seated and they received attentive service immediately. We were a little annoyed at this (they were tourists too) but our service got a little bit better after that. On the better service time on the patio, we had a midday meal of drinks and Schnitzel. On the poor service day, we had drinks and a Schinken-Käse meal (a ham and cheese sandwich with a green salad) (7,50 E) and a St. Johanner sausage plate with roll and side of horseradish (4,50 E) (the sausage is made nearby and is a regional Tirol specialty). Each time the food was good but the service varied a lot. Then my husband got a very bad cold and was bedridden. We ordered room service when he was feeling a bit better and split everything. Of course we ordered Schnitzel, we are so boring (it's comfort food!). It came with the side of a fruit compote and potatoes. We also ordered a couple of desserts, one of which was Apple Strudel. It was all delicious! The young woman delivering the tray didn't really speak English but was very sweet.Over all we were obviously quite pleased with the food. The restaurant inside and on the patio was quite clean. Unfortunately on the patio some of the European tourists would smoke cigarettes which was unappetizing. But otherwise the patio was very nice.

Quite interesting as this is a huge butchers worth a visit to see all the ranges of meet and preparations. It also has a restaurant at one end. Very popular with Austrian people....the food is very Austrian. Food ....we had belly pork, and spare ribs. They do sausages ,pork buttt which is very good, all grilled/barbecued. The food is served 12 till 2. Very quick service and also very busyThank you very much for the nice review! We are indeed a traditional Butchery in Kitzbühel with a large range of meat and our housemade sausages and cold meats. Great, that you enjoyed your food and we hope to see you again!

We have been coming to Kitzbühel for years and started staying here recently and have stayed several times. The hotel and staff are very warm and friendly. A beautifully appointed hotel in the style of Tirol. The owners and staff will make you feel welcome. The restaurant serves very good Austrian fare and nice portions. It is our âgo toâ spot in the center of town. Parking on the property and a 2 minute walk to the center. We will be back regularly!

This cozy, traditional hotel and restaurant is located on the Bichlalm mountain pasture high above Innsbruck, far away from the tourist crowds. It offers clean mountain air and breathtaking views of the Kitzbühel Alps. Enjoy Tyrolean hospitality, refined
A large group of us approx 130, had a party night at Rosi's and it was a night to remember. It started with a local wine reception on the terrace with stunning views down the valley and across to Kitzbuhel itself. Once seated the food and wine started to flow in copiuos amounts, and the quality and quantity of both was excellent. We were then entertained by Rosi on her guitar singing traditional songs including EdelweissThe food was an excellent selection of local foods done as sharing platters. Endless photo opportunities including one with the largest Stieff Bear I have ever seen. An excellent night-Thank you Rosi and staffThank you for comming- hope to see u again. Much greetings :-)

Staying in Kitzbuhel for a week and have visited the Huberbrau Stuberl 3 times for dinner. We ate indoors as the outside area was full. The food is excellent and better priced than most of the other restaurants in town. My husband really enjoys the beer here! The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is that the staff arenât overly welcoming. Considering we ate there 3 evenings in a row you would think we would be welcomed back by a smile but thatâs missing. Go for the food - that wonât disappoint.
