....we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant whilst staying at a nearby campsite and what a find it turned out to be. We were greeted by very welcoming staff who could not have done enough for us. After struggling with our German we were offered menus in English and then went on to enjoy some of the best German cuisine we had experienced on our holiday and great value as well !!I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any one who might find themselves in the area and really hope that we will be able to get back there again soon.

Menu basic but good food, pork Loin was exceptional, tender and juicy. Beer washed it down well. Lovely welcoming staff. No English spoken do be prepared to try out your German!

After a long day at EuropaPark, the kids were tired and we wanted to have dinner near our apartment. The Apollon restaurant was not full, there were empty tables but a senior staff with long greasy hair simple dismissed my request for orders and said "we are full". So what your review is about? you dont taste our services, our food - nothing, you just angry that you dont get some place in our restaurant and give us bad points on everything what you didnt taste - shame on you - this is not honest, and even just a bad behavior. Quando torniamo in questo stupendo hotel macelleria ci sentiamo veramente come nella nostra casa di Ascona. Cibo ottimo. Camere veramente accoglienti con una colazione da Re! Speriamo di ritornarci ancora per tanto tempo!

Wir sind letztes Jahr zu Fuà zu der Weinstube gelaufen (es gibt schöne Wege in der Umgebung) und haben uns über einen Platz im Freien gefreut. Das Personal war freundlich und das Essen hat im GroÃen und Ganzen auch lecker geschmeckt. Es war kein kulinarisches Highlight, aber dennoch lecker.

Von drauÃen sieht das Gasthaus viel gröÃer aus, als es drinnen ist. Neben der dominanten und gut besuchten Theke gibt es Tische an den Fenstern und einen Nebenraum. Wunderbar ist, dass es Guinness vom Fass gibt und auch lokale Gerichte. Ich hatte Leber sauer mit Brägele, das ist Rinderleber in brauner mit Himbeeressig hergestellter SoÃe und Bratkartoffeln. Sehr lecker und sehr gut!

Restaurant visité par hasard alors que nous étions de passage dans le coin. Difficile de trouver quelque chose d'ouvert un lundi à 20h! Cadre sympa, terrasse agréable. Le menu est uniquement en allemand mais la serveuse très sympathique parle anglais et nous a tout de suite mis à l'aise. Rapport qualité/prix excellent (nous avons mangé la tarte flambée aux girolles fraîches et le pavé de boeuf), c'était bon et copieux. N'hésitez pas à vous arrêter si vous passez par là .

Unfortunately we allowed our hotel to convince us to go to this place, rather than checking Trip Advisor as we usually would. Big mistake. Expensive and unfriendly and totally unsuitable for a family with young children. Lots of staff, but most of them seemed to be there for show, rather than to look after their clients. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Bar /Resturant attached to its hotel. The staff are very friendly and very helpful to make sure you enjoyed your time at the restaurant.Menu is nice and simple and covers all taste buds of your average family.
