We were there just to relax and surprised that we found a Biergarten. Large parking behind over parallel street. Service and food was very good and the have a good wine card as well.

About 50 of us ate here. Some came from Ihringen in a cart with seats pulled by a tractor, others took a coach and walked the final 1.5 km. It was worth the wonderful view. The service was well organised for a large group and we ate typical German food and enjoyed local wine and beer. Big parties are clearly as welcome as family groups but a large coach cannot negotiate the road.

Had to search this out but worth it. Great atmosphere. Very ample portions. Interesting traditional menu though hard to understand if german is limited. Nicest meal we had. Staff friendly and helpful. Note: the name is slightly different from tripadv listing. Martinshof schenke

Karle's Weinkrugle aspires to be a Regional restaurant with seasonal menus and a Mediterranean influence. They succeed at that, but is it unique? It seems like most restaurants in the area do that too. They have their own wines and as is often the case with restaurants that do, the wine prices seem high for the wine quality. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with this restaurant, it just does not stand out from the pack. On our visit we tried the Muskateller Kabinet, the Rotwein Kabinet, a Rothaus Beer, a Matjesfilet and a Schweinefilet. We found the meals better than the beverages.

It was the night of the ladies' keep fit, so the place was alive with conversation and a friendly family atmosphere. They need to keep fit because the portions are enormous. Menu not too demanding with good, perfectly cooked, hearty food and superb salad well to the fore. The local wine confirmed that quality German red wine is really worth seeking out. Friendly well-paced service. A very good evening - and not just because of the wine!

WELCOME A historical Inn with modern concept. Here you will find: regional creative kitchen coasy rooms
We had booked a table for three. Menus were only in German but we had the chance to have a charming waitress speaking a perfect French to help us go through the menu and pick typical meals. With this tapas menu, you have the possibility to discover many of the good local specialties. We enjoyed them all. Try it, itâs worth it.Hello LeMorse, thank you very much for the kind review. You make us happy!Regards from the team

We returned for lunch at the end of a walk and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The food - mainly traditional fare - was excellent and the service friendly and attentive (although meals here are taken at a leisurely pace!).We sat outside under the large, shady umbrellas protecting us from the hot sun. All the tables outside were busy, but there was plenty of space inside for when the weather is less pleasant. We will certainly return.

We sat in the Court yard which is nice in the hot summer in Ihringen. Freshly made food. Friendly to children with a special childrens menu. Small selection of wines from the local area only. Nice draught beer.

Had lunch here during the wine festival and if you are looking for good local food, this place is it. Not cheap lah. The mushrooms were in season so I opted for that, family had Zander and meat filet. All very good. However.. Local food uses a lot of butter and salt. I can therefore recommend the walnut digestif afterwards. And if you can, climb the Schlossberg behind.
