The local beer was an excellent compliment to the Venison & the Schnitzel the we enjoyed. This is one of our pleasures when travelling, not necessarily shared with other unseasoned travellers. We say get out and try anything and everything local when you have the chance to do so. Most enjoyable, friendly & helpful staff, notwithstanding language barriers.

This was a great find with plenty of atmosphere and almost devoid of tourists. There was an English menu on request however and the staff were helpful and obliging. The beer and house red wine were good and the food excellent. Food was cooked to order. I had a perfect tender rump steak smothered with a very tasty dark onion sauce and served with spatzel and a very good salad. My wife had what was from the menu for smaller dishes which consisted of a grilled pork neck and salad that good hardly be described as small but was very good. Overall a great lunch.

A cozy option for lunch or dinner on the "other side" of the Main from Miltenberg. The perfect open air eats option in this beautiful town. Menu offers many traditional favorites done nicely and for a fair price.

Having spent a couple of hours walking around Miltenberg, we stopped by at this cafe for some coffee and cake. This is a self-service place, the girls at the counter were friendly, and everything worked out very well.

In GroÃheubach gibt es an einem Ort eine groÃe Anzahl von Häckerwirtschaften .Es gibt wohl keine Gemeinde oder Stadt in einer Weinbaugegend mit einem derartig groÃen Aufkommen.Meine Freunde und ich sind praktisch jede Woche einmal zwischen Erlenbach und Bürgstadt unterwegs auf "Häcketour".Es gibt Unterschiede in der GröÃe , in den Weinen (typische Häcke bietet nur Wein aus eigenem Anbau an) und in den Speisen.In dieser Häcke waren wir 2 x , leider nicht zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir meiden diese Gaststätte.

Miltenberg has so much to offer but high on my list is an evening at the Faust Biergarten. Very good food options at reasonable prices but the highlight is sitting "out back" and watching the people and boats go by on the mighty Main River. Toast this review when you experience this yourself. Prost!

We sat outside and enjoyed people-watching with our dinner at this historical hotel. My liver and onions with fried potatoes was tasty, although quite heavy. A mixed meat platter was also very good, according to my husband. I think an appetizer and sharing a main would probably be enough for many couples.

Our tour took us up the the church and abbey. The church is very beautiful, with gorgeous gardens around it. We also had a great experience in the Abbey food hall, being provided with the bread made especially for them, meats and cheeses. Also, we were provided some of their delicious white wine. The head priest came in and talked to us and gave us a blessing. A wonderful experience.
