We love fresh and seasonal products! This is why we serve exactly those to all guests of our restaurant and beergarden. Whenever possible we get our ingredients from local farmers, shepherds and gardens. Salads, vegetables and herbs are grown and harveste
Went here a few times and found the place to bevery helpful, friendly and pleasant. The food is 1st class and prepared fresh on site by there own top class chef. I am from UK and they even went to the trouble of specially finding English tea to drink which I did not ask for but they wanted to make me feel at home which I very much did. Would recommend this place to anyone and they also speak several languages.

In Spandau, in the district Staaken, far to the west of Berlin, there the restaurant âZum Ãsterreicher" (âThe Austrianâ) is situated, next to the small former village church of Staaken, and proves that in the Prussian Berlin Austrians can feel at home!In the cobbled main street, the small restaurant is a little hidden, but has long been a "first choice" in Spandau. Invitingly equipped with lots of dark wood, floor boards and playful accessories, the "Zum Ãsterreicher" takes its guests into a very different world: Not into a cliché of alpine mountain inns, but right in the self-conscious hospitality and eclectic cuisine of Austria. A perfect experience, very much supported by the nice garden with tables under big trees â and dishes served with charm.Actually we turned around for a short break only - and enjoyed at once the Austrian coffee variety. Then the chef recommended venison goulash with pudding and Wiener Schnitzel - both excellent and our visit was getting longer and longer. The prices were finally appropriate (lunch menu), otherwise not all that cheap. The "Zum Ãsterreicher" in Spandau is in high demand, so better sign up to avoid disappointment!

Charming little restaurant on the west side of Berlin, located on the shores of a small lake and close to Centrovital, a hotel/fitness center... Chef wiped up a vegetarian dish (off the menu) that was delightful, and recommended a lovely, light red wine that matched the dish perfectly. Lunch for 2, 80 Euro with wine. Very worthwhile. NOTE: they do not accept international credit cards (as so many places in Germany), make sure you have cash in the wallet.
This place is just a few minutes away from the historical Berlin wall cycle path.It offers a large menu of Traditional German cuisine as well as a seasonal special menu. The food there is delicious and filling. I had enjoyed the recommended charolais steak and asparagus and a freshly drafted beer and was in heaven. Ever since I have been back there many times and so far have always been more than satisfied with the food and the service. They have a smokers lounge towards the back, and another huge party hall. Both can be rented for events. Oh and of course they have a well maintained beer garden. The staff is friendly and very helpful with information of all kinds. They also have rooms to rent at a reasonable rate. I paid for a spacious newly renovated double room 60 Euros. Rooms are very clean and have TV and phone. They also have wi-fi, if you ask for it.

I was visiting my family and enquired about a " typical " German restaurant with a Bavarian style of cuisine. This Brauhaus in Spandau was mentioned and we wereon our way !!Normally , we would have to order a table but tonight lady luck was on our side !!The restaurant was crowded and the aroma of German cuisine lingered in the air!! We ordered plenty of beer and the Rinderroulade with Sauerkraut was delicious !! All prices are very reasonableand you won't have any regrets leaving the center of Berlin to taste this specialcuisine !

We were happy to find this place close to the Outlet Mall where the the restaurants are few and always packed. The meat skewer and the chicken dish were tasty and fresh, cooked just right, and the side salad was fresh and mouth watering. Service was very friendly and attentive and the pricing reasonable.

My family and I were at the Hexenhouse (Witches House) in Falkensee, Germany. The owner, Edmond is a very good chef and has worked in some high class hotels around the world. His style of "Fusion" cooking is just amazing and together with the atmosphere of this very unique location, it's the perfect place to go if you want high class food .The food is very tasty and you instantly can't fail to recognize this. Edmond cooks with a lot of fresh herbs and manages to keep the natural tones of these while fusing other tastes together which make the dishes very palatable. For the quality of the food, the prices are reasonable and we were very satisfeid at the end of the night. The wine list is also well thought out.I know it sounds like I'm writing a marketing script here, but this restaurant made a good impression on me and I'm raving about it. From what I've heard it has "cult" status because of the special way it was constructed using parts of trees, copper, and the rustic style thatlooks like it just came out of a Hollywood movie. The restaurant is usually full, so if you are thing of going, I'd recommend to reserve a table beforehand.Sorry, I don't have photos but there are a lot already uploaded.
