Enjoy traditional bavarian and german home-style cooking in a rustic alpine hut style atmosphere. Our roomy beer garden is the perfect place to take a seat in the summertime and to enjoy a cold drink. Visit us near Frankfurt am Main.
Had a team meal here recently and what a fantastic choice it was. Despite there being over 40 of us it still had a very personal level of service. The food was simply brilliant. High quality with very fresh ingredient. Was lucky enough not to have to pay so no idea as to the price, but from little I saw on one of the menus it was more than reasonable considering the high quality of the food. Will be going again, And I'm delighted to find such a good restaurant.

Nice place for a good dinner and beer experience - probably the best in Neu Isenburg. The schweinhaxe was just fine. Reservation is a must, as the place is very frequented. There is also a garden with tables even in the winter.

You'll get glances from the locals when you walk in, especially if you look like a tourist, but that's part of German tradition, that silent, excessively long stare, hunched over a mug of beer. The food is decent, traditional German. I can't even remember much about it because you come here because a) you somehow found your way to this quaint town and got hungry, b) your friends brought you. Either way, you're there because you have to be and it certainly is good enough to enjoy. There aren't many other choices in town and I doubt you'll get an unpleasant meal here.

My first positive impression was the large, spotlessly clean kitchen and her 3 robust cooks. I knew immediately that I was in for a culinary adventure. The cooks smiled at us from their steaming pots and gave us a look of; "Welcome to our establishment. You are in good hands". Needless to say I was not dissappointed. Every dish was an awakening of the senses. Good old regional food presented with a passionate French touch. We tasted a rack of lamb embedded in a delicate curry gravy, sliced deer meat that melted on our palate, roast beef curled up in a mushroom sauce, chicken & goose liver patè and always that devilish bread served with 3 types of butter. I still had space for their dessert. I chose the chefs plate. A little bit of everything. An unbelievable culinary delight; from poppy-seed ice-cream to a hot chocolate mouse. Finally, I would highly recommend the following wines with the meat choices; La Rioja Alta, Verdejo and Laxas Albarino wines.
