Ai margini della frazione di Castelvecchio dalla quale si ha una bella vista sul lago di Caldaro. Il posto è semplice, ha una veranda e una terrazza con vista sulla campagna. I piatti sono i soliti di questi locali fuori dai centri abitati : canederli, milanese, uova con patate saltate, Kaiserschmarren preparati discretamente, ma al di là del cibo è sempre piacevole fermarsi in questi posti anche solo per una bibita.

Das Gasthaus Christl im Loch ist ein historisches Lokal am beliebten Fahrradweg von Eppan nach Kaltern, umgeben von Weinbergen und Obstwiesen, weg von der HauptstraÃe und vom Lärm. Die Kartenauswahl basiert auf kalten Gerichten, Salaten und Jausentellern.Die Jausestation schlieÃt jeweils um 19 Uhr.Man kann mit dem Auto von der WeinstraÃe abbiegen und bis zum Gasthof fahren. Eigener Parkplatz, der etwas steil zum Eingang der Jausestation ist. Für Menschen mit Gehschwierigkeiten empfielt es sich oben neben der Terrasse zu parken.

Fur das Mittagsessen mal nach diesem Lokal, keiner da, aber eine sehr freundliche wirtin. Es gab nur brotzeit, kein problem! Flasche gewurztraminer vom haus (18 euro) und dazu zwei mal speck, ein kase brettl und eine kaminwurz. Keine Karte mit preise also eine uberrasschung am ende, die brotzeit war 44 euro, kann .... aber an andere stellen kostet es bedeutig weniger.

Popped in to meet Stefan, as he is a friend of a friend. Had no idea that he owned, ran and sang at this hip kool place. There was an amazing vibe that was all down to Stefan, he is an awesomely talented singer and generous host with the Most!

Toevallig voor de lunch hier gearriveerd en moeten zeggen dat het hier perfect verzorgd is. Nette en attente bediening, mooie wijnkaart, en het eten is heel bijzonder. De familienplatte die we kregen was van veel lekkers voorzien en alles in top kwaliteit. Het brood was ook erg lekker, kortom hier komen we graag nog eens terug.

It was a bit rainy the day we stopped here on our drive through the vineyards of Kaltern, South Tyrol in Italy. From the road it's a bit inconspicuous, but I'm sure it's very popular. The biergarten appears to be the home to lots of events. I can imagine that it rocks. I can't say much about the food. We stopped just to have a drink and were delighted to discover they offer a gluten-free beer. I had two. What impressed me was how professional the staff is. They were all out drying the tables and benches and chairs when it stopped raining. They were friendly and attentive.
