A nice 'gemutlich' Restaurant (with Hotel) set in rural surroundings about 3km from Motorway, rustic wood interior, good hearty food (try the Rinderroulade - beef olive), a little pricey for a location set in rural surrounds, but generous portions make up for some of that.

Thereâs not a ton of infrastructure at Sans Souci unless you go into Potsdam proper. This is a good option, just across from the windmill at the palace grounds entrance. Simple North German fare, served at reasonable prices with efficiency. Nothing special, but lots of options on the menu. Nice wine list.

Potatoes potatoes and more potatoes! A wonderful concept on presenting the menu. Potatoes come with everything so fish,meat, vegans and vegatarians are all catered for. I had the schnitzel with roast potatoes and onion gravy. Delicious washed down with good German beer. Service was attentive and good. The wasps if eating outside at this time of year were a pain. It is not the quickest place to be served and my food on a Wednesday lunch took 45 minutes to arrive. The deserts looked very good, I wanted the hot raspberries but had no time to order as I had a train to catch. Would definately eat here again.

A realy good restaurant! Delicious dishes, prepared with care and eye for details.We chose the menu with 4 courses (out of 6) and had a good time. The cheese platter was the best I ever had, not standard at all but each of the cheeses used and prepared specially. Good job!We were the only guests this evening, but the team was deducated as if all tables were full.

Had it not been for our guide (see Explore Berlin Tours), we would have never found this lovely neighborhood gem. But we are so glad we did. The menu was classic German, lunch delicious, Pilsner cold and satisfying and the setting gorgeous and scenic. It was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Potsdam. Lovely old house on the "old" market of Brandenburg. Cosy interior, good service but definitely overpriced! Small portions!Maybe for the happy few in Brandenburg..We dont even pay that much for a glass of wine in Hamburg... We were on our way to Potsdam when our GPS led us to the ferry crossing. Right there is the Faerhaus Caputh. We decided to stop for dinner and had a wonderful meal. Service was good, view to die for, english Menu, and very reasonable. Dinner for 2 about $65. We even came back 2 days later too. Dont' hesitate to go.

Ich sitze im schönen Garten und genieÃe den leckeren Flammkuchen mit Räucherlachs und lausche den unsichtbaren Vögeln ... Die Bedienung ist toll und wird sicherlich schnell einen sehr guten Job finden und die Betreiberin wird hoffentlich in anderer, vielleicht kleinerer Form irgendwann weitermachen ... Dieses gastronomische Kleinod wird Werder fehlen ...

We had a very nice German meal on the water. The atmosphere was excellent and the wait staff was very good as well as the food. Highly recommended right there on the water!
