Business holidays until 30 March!
On a warm summer evening, we enjoyed an excellent fish dinner looking out over the Thumsee. Our fish and seafood starters and mains were expertly prepared plus very nicely presented. The service was both very helpful and friendly but also professional. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this for fish lovers.

We often use the Kammerer Brau when in Bad Reichenhall. We really enjoy the food. The only reason I have not rated this as excellent is that there is often only one member of staff serving and whilst they are very good you can often have to wait a while to be served

Wandering around Bad Reichenhall not knowing where to eat and we stumbled upon Hunn's. The schnitzel was amazing- freshly pounded tender hot and crispy.

All our guests will feel at home with us, to experience their own personal "enjoyment". Depending on the circumstances which they have brought to us, is relaxation and tranquility as well as adventure, fun and make friends on their wish list. And that is

I went up the Predigtstuhl on the cable car and decided to have my midday meal up there after walking across town. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. Yes the food was a little expensive but this is to be expected when you are at the top of a mountain. I had the Wiener Schnitzel (veal) with boiled parsley potatoes. The food was delicious! Decent sized portions too. I was very impressed. If I were up the mountain again I would be happy to eat here.

We ate at the Obermuhle twice during our stay in the neighboring village. It was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed. It has a wonderful atmosphere, great food (with most everything grown on site), and a very interesting and friendly old gent who was our waiter. If you are in or near Bad Reichenhall it is worth the effort to find this great restaurant.

Visiting Bad Reichenhall and its lovely local mountain Predigstuhl, we thought we'd missed out the chance of again staying in the Gasthof Burgerbrau as I couldn't book it through Booking.com. A quick email to the hotel, and we were in! Again I was stunned by this lovely place. The staff as ever were friendly ( no Brexit here ) and helpful, the rooms spacious and super-clean and the location virtually unbeatable. This year we took two friends who were new to lovely Bavaria, including one who had never 'enjoyed' Germany but this trip did the trick; she loved this hotel as much as I did - this is my 4th stay - and it coloured her visit to Southern Germany positively. We're back from our trip now and I miss this gorgeous building, and it's caring staff. If you're ever visiting the gorgeous Bad Reichenhall - and scruffy UK towns have a lot to learn here - you'd do far worse than stay at the Burgerbrau, a jewel in the crown of this lovely town.
