I had pasta with Pfifferlinge and it tasted good. In the summer if you are not coming from within the thermal spa but as a visitor you can sit outside. There are probably better, more refined alternatives in Bad Orb but it is definitely not a bad choice if you are close-by.

Very friendly restaurant come bar. Simple but good clean location - for locals and visitors. Quite popular! Excellent food cooked like mother's best home food! Excellent value for money. We were only in Bad Orb for three nights but loved this little restaurant so much we ate there every evening! You can't say fairer than that! Highly recommended!

Die Gaststätte in einem Alten Bahnhofsgebäude ist richtig schnuckelig ......... Ein Traum was man da alles kulinarisch gereicht bekam.......Ein Steak butter zart Medium wie gewünscht auf den Punkt, dass Messer lief wie durch Butter.... Danke dafürDas Personal ist sehr umtriebig im erklären der Speisen oder auch Getränke, ich kann nur jedem empfehlen, wenn man in der Ecke um Bad Orb herum mal ist, der Weg dorthin lohnt sich immer.

The menu card is not a huge one, but they always have seasonal specialties. The food is very good, in summer the have also a terrace to sit on, I really like it.

This is a very unique little place, it's about 10 minutes outside of Bad Orb town. They farm the trout right outside the restaurant. We had a window seat and view it's pretty idylic. We had the trout which was fantastic. The service was good and very friendly, it was very quiet when we went on Saturday.

We visited this delightful cafe and restaurant for coffee and cake in the middle of winter. The town is very beautiful and we felt like we were walking through a fairy tale with snow all around and lovely old buildings. Our enchantment continued on entering the cafe, which is cosy and cute, and Conny and Udo could not have been more welcoming. The huge display of tempting cakes, freshly made on the premises, was extremely tempting and the two we tried didn't disappoint! The coffee was great too.

We ventured out to explore a this restaurant situated on the outer fringe of Bad Orb within walking distance of the main park. It was a former house of the Ranger taking care of an allotted section of the stunning forest. Since over 33 years a restaurant is taken this place over and the same family has been operating it for this time. The interior has stood still in time which is quite interesting. You can select from 3 dining rooms as well as an outdoor area during the warmer months. Even though it was 3:30pm we switched from afternoon tea to a full meal, as the kitchen served warm meals from lunch time to evening. Our Schnitzel were yummy and of generous proportions, but there was room for one waffle with warm cherries and whipped cream. The waitress displayed a high degree of genuine care, as we watched an old gentleman being assisted to his regular table.We weakened and took a few cakes home, which turned out to be as good as the Schnitzels. The place was hopping with a constant flow of patrons coming and going. There is ample parking behind the restaurant.We will be back for sure.

We stayed over a weekend and on Saturday it was very full. After waiting at the bar for 10-15 minutes we got a table and the food is very typical. After a Bretzel for starters, we shared the Nürnberger Bratwürste and the Fleischkäse (Nurnberg Sausages and a kind of Meatloaf). Beer brewed on the premises rounded off the whole meal.
