Not that the Osl needs any more positive reviews - by now "word of mouth" is sufficient - but I was so impressed with the quality and taste of what I got served that I had say a few words. The meat is mostly raised by the family themselves on their free-range farm and you can taste the difference. Add to that the skill of the chef and you're in for a treat. Make sure you book well in advance! One-day-ahead booking will not be sufficient under normal circumstances.

This is a great place if you visit in lower Bavaria. The ambiance inside is old and rustic and needs some attention. But don't be fooled. The food is very traditional...so is the beer and the ambiance. If weather permits there is also great outdoor space. But it is fun to mingle inside with true Bavarian s. One dish I get here every-time I come is a very simple one: Brotzeitteller! The more people the bigger the plates. Highly Recommended...however, all other items are true Bavarian kitchen. If you get the Brotzeitteller get also some Pressack which they make there. If they offer Schweinebraten...go for it.

Off the beaten track (you need a GPS). Go only in spring/summer (good weather). Fantastic beer-garden. Menu is five-star. Great value. It's an old pastors home with the church on the other side.....resting on top of the hill. Small operation, great staff. Highly recommend if you are within 20 miles of the area.....you need to make this your evening dinner stop.

Das Hotel ist ein typisch bayerisches Wirtshaus. Gemütlich rustikal eingerichtet und der Service ist standesgemäà in einer Kellnertracht zu sehen. Das bayerische Buffet überzeugt durch Auswahl und Geschmack. Die Köche selbst reichen die warmen Speisen vor Ort. Natürlich durfte beim Salat der bayerische Klassiker âTomate-Mozzarellaâ nicht fehlen Das Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert.

The restaurant is situated directly opposite Lidl and has a good sized parking area. We visited on the last Sunday before they closed for a short break. They open again on 17th November.A wide range of starters and main courses, with an excellent salad buffet area. This is a family run restaurant and can be busy Sunday lunch time. The pork filets with cheese and ham grilled on top was a good choice.
