Also Bargeld mitnehmen. Am Wochenende wird eine Reservierung empfohlen.

We stayed in Arnsberg for our Obstacle run. Afterwards we searched high and lo for a decent place to eat without any luck. We decided to try this charming place. The atmosphere is vey American style with lots of photo ops. The restaurant and bar close on Sundayâs at 20:00 but they let us take a last minute order no problem. Definitely worth a visit.

we used the restaurant to times for a customer meeting (relaxed ones, out of the office). A nice place. drinks and food are good. the staff is ok, that means, they did all our wishes, only feel sometimes they but not really happy about the request also if asked in a very kind and respectful way. But that's maybe about personalities. It is really central located. If I am in Arnsberg again, then I would choose it again.

Easter Monday, on our way back to the Netherlands, and searching for a restaurant to have dinner. We stumbled into Arnsberg, Germany and found this pretty interesting restaurant, Landgasthof Hoffmann. The place was pretty full, but a young waiter lead us to another room, that still had no guests, which was perfect for us.There was pretty good selection to choose from, and was not disappointed with the quality and the use of what seems to be local German products & ingredients. From the starter of having mashed potato & cabbage with blood sausage and salmon trout, followed by Duck with with blackberry sauce & an abundant amount of white truffle shavings. The dessert was not to be out-shined, evenwith the very well-known German servings, I savoured the mousse and homemade ice cream, matched with some local schnapps (Schlanderer).Of course, my partner enjoyed himself too, and totally agree with us coming back here again, on our way back from Winterberg.

Sauerland is known for its beautiful countryside and traditions, also when it comes to food and dining. Seegarten restaurant distinguishes itself by also 'serving' innovation. This manifests itself in several ways. The outdoor terrace is equipped with ramps surrounded by ponds with beautiful plants and interesting lighting - go there if possible on a warm summer night. From the terrace one has a view of the beautiful modern architecture of the new hotel section including floating pool. Once the guest is seated he can experience in the choices and the quality of the food traditional elements as well as proven techniques supplemented with innovation. Appetizers, breads, accompanying wines are of good quality: our main courses 'Dorade' and 'Deer in two ways' (both about ⬠30-35) are highly recommended. There are also cheaper main courses. Big salads are served for vegetarians. Professional staff.

Nice open spacious restaurant with mainly German cuisine but complements to the chef who has given some local dishes a modern twist. We ate with a large group of 9 including a few children and everyone finished their food. Service was good and prices reasonable, will return next time I am in the area

We took a party of six to lunch in this historic old bake house, now a restaurant in the old part of Arnsberg. We tried the kutscherpfanne (coachman's fry-up) which was a revelation! If you - no - when you visit, also try kartoffelpfanne (a potato speciality).

The meat is lovely. It is a pity that the vegetables are frozen vegetables and not fresh. Before the main dish they give a fresh salade. I would recommend the owner to give just the fresh salade together ith main dish. We took a plate for 2 and also there was to many french fries on the dish. The rice was delicious but such a small portion and the fresh tomatoes were delightful to. If they don't give frozen vegetables no more , it is better !!!

On a very wet and windy day decided to have a drive out to this restaurant. The food is wonderful and the ambience of the restaurant was really lovely. Very unusual with stunning décor and the service was excellent. Will definitely come back in the Summer when the lake and surrounding area will just give perfection to this place. Very reasonable and well worth the visit but it can be very busy and although we didn't have a problem to be seated it probably would be best to book .

This restaurant is somewhat remotely located outside the main roads, but it is worth a modest detour. The veal schnitzel had fine flavor, good texture, and was competently prepared. Instead of choosing from their apparently extensive wine list, I took the Grevensteiner beer, which easily met the high expectations of German lagers.Service was correct with even a hint of Teutonic humor. The bill including a decent cup of coffee came close to 25 EUR.In a word: empfehlenswert.
