We ate at Grunauer Hof resturant tonight and we were really pleased we decided to try it as it was very close to our hotel and we didn't feel like travelling very far.The resturant is very traditional and authentically Austrian. The service was very good and very efficient. The food was of a high quality and very delicious. We will deffidently visit again for a meal. Highly recomend if you are visiting the area.

The cord am blu is super, great entire card, family own and run, the food takes a few extra min to come, but everything is freshly made, it worth the little wait, the best salads and schnizel, the menu is all great dishes.

We had a huge Platter for two with different meat (veal, pork and chicken), vegetables, potato dishes and fruits...also they served 4 different sauces with it. We could not manage it, as it was way too much. The price for this platter for two was very reasonable with EUR 31! Also it was very delicious. We went there twice and it was absolutely worth it. We really recommend this restaurant. The service personnel is very friendly and they are quick with serving the meal.

It's a typical Bavarian restaurant, placed on a nice hill, conveniently on the path to local sights. On Sunday, when we were there they had traditional live music. The restaurant is run by a family, I think that they are also the ones who do the cooking. The menu doesn't offer too many options and the plates are slightly small, especially if you go hiking.

We found Lohmayr Stub'n restaurant as âMichelin Bib Gourmandâ tip. It is at old nice building at Piding village. It has really rustically feeling. We stopped there for dinner but restaurant was fully booked so we were lucky to get seat for lunch next day. Restaurant is relatively small and as already mentioned it is designed in a village rustically style which is fine. Service was friendly, fast and professional â they helped us with translation menu to English and give us recommendations. Food was well prepared but some taste combinations were a little bit strange for us â beef steak came accompanied with sweet Thai sauce, octopus was marinated too much in some sweet sauce. But itâs ok when a cook is looking for new combinations and tastes it just wasnât what we expected. But as I already mentioned the food was well done and good quality. Selection of desserts was excellent. Recommended local wine was ok they have good selection of digestives including local grappa or several kinds of cognac for good price. Itâs really interesting place and itâs worth to visit if you are travelling around.

Traditional Bavarian food, about 6 different schnitzel options ,full of local people, may you need to make a reservation before, because is always full and serves food until 21:00. We had 4 schnitzel, one with mushrooms was very good, one baked in the oven with ham and cheese inside was good and 2 Wiener schnitzels which were the best, we also had very tasty weisse beer and the prices was very good. I recommend it to schnitzel and beer lovers!

I regularly visit the Klosterwirt Hoglwoerth for snacks or coffee when I'm at the Hoeglwoerth See (lake). It has a wonderful, idyllic location right next to the lake and is perfect for a quick refreshment during a hiking or biking trip. The food is quite good, and prices are reasonable. The only downside is that the staff seems absolutely overstrained and unable to cope with more than 5 guests at one time. Even when you only order coffee and cake for 2 people, they will bring you one cup of coffee after 15 min, then one piece of cake after additional 10 min, and even when you ask about the rest it can still take quite a long time to get the rest. My family and I noticed especially during our last 2 visits that the two waitresses had virtually no system in their work, trying to do too many things at a time and letting the guests wait far longer than acceptable. We had to ask 3 times for one missing coffee, but the waitress seemed to immediately forget it again because she started collecting empty glasses and plates from the other tables instead of completing the order.A few more waiters would really improve the overall quality of the Klosterwirt, it would be a pity if a nice restaurant lost its good reputation because of the bad service.
