Kurze und eindeutige Empfehlung:Der 'Druid´s Chair Burger'.Der hält, was andere Mc's nur auf ihren Werbefotos versprechen, aber nach dem Auswickeln immer enttäuschen.Dazu ein gezapftes irishes Bier, paÃt!Ach so, Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, und im Sommer sitzt man draussen abends schön, wenn nicht mehr so viel Verkehr ist. Parkmöglichkeiten, Bahnhof, Kino - alles in der Nähe.

I restaurant in Alzey with nice name. It has nothing special except a daily changing lunch. Tastes not bad and is cheap (between 6 und 8 Euros, if I remember right). After a visit in the "Alzeyer SchloÃ" and if you go to the city center you will pass it.

Wir waren mit einer kleinen Truppe hier, das Wetter lud in den Biergarten ein. Der Service hatte seine Arbeit gut im Griff, es war aber ich nicht sehr voll. Kritik gilt einzig dem Essen. Das geht selbst mit Convenience viel besser. Bratkartoffeln schwammen in Ãl, Schnitzel war in Geschmack und Konsistenz wie eine Pappe. Es ist zwar nicht teuer hier, allerdings kann man das Geld besser investieren. Zum Bier gern wieder, essen werde ich dann woanders.

The restaurant provided a typical German menu with a good choice between pork , chicken and vegetarian food. Large "Schnitzels" ! Nice salad with yogurt dressing. Good choice of local wines and other beverages. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere in a very old monumental building. Great to spend an nice evening and enjoy a good meal.

Have been in this lovely Café several times. They have a nice variety of wines and for lunch a good, short but beautiful selection of food. Most important is the wine - as everywhere in Rheinhessen. You can buy on spot just like 6/12/24 bottles of wine for absolutely cheap prices! I love to go to this spot when ever I am in Alzey

I guess that this is one of the nicest places in Alzay to have e drink, lunch or diner.The interior looks very authentic and the outside seating area is overlooking the charming little square and local street life. In fact, the latter was the main reason why went went here for diner.Food is somewhere between average and good, so is the value for money.Service although is friendly.Therefore, my rating has been based more on the interior and the location of the restaurant than on the quality of the food.

Very friendly staff, simple but good menu, varied choice of wines and beers.A typical German eat and drink local/pub. Well patronised and when all tables are occupied, sharing a table is expected and welcomed.Simple, home-cooked food of good quality and generous portions. Local wines are reasonably priced. 2 course meal and drinks for 20-25 Euro per person.
