I gave this a great review in June. Could I revoke it? This visit we arrived after 2.30pm, not realising they had stopped service. The bar man ignored us and continued his chat to a mate at the bar. We waited for 5 mins. We eventually interrupted his chat and asked if we could sit anywhere. He curtly said Yes, and turned back to his conversation, still never greeting us or asking what we would like to drink. We chose a table and read the menus. Still he ignored us. Eventually a waitress appeared, and seemed surprised to see us. She bluntly said they were finished on food, and walked back in the kitchen. We got up and left in disgust, and still the barman ignored us! No wonder this place isnât packed! We will not be returning.

Set on the beautiful and tranquil setting of the River Severn's South Quay just a stones throw away froml the hectic city life. This spot is an absolute favourite for families and visitors to Worcester alike. At any time of day enjoy relaxing while the ch
Whatâs happening, scruffy decor in so need of a refurb, it now feels dirty and most of the seating is dirty or falling apart. The food is appalling. Itâs been good / great for years but omg , has it lost itâs way. Cocktails really good as is the service but for future sake, spend some money on the furniture and a chef that actually can cook.

We were looking forward to a lunch here, but it was let down a little by some tough roast beef (stringy) and some unusually lax service (a long wait for pudding and the same empty soft drinks bottles left on the table from when we sat down to when we left 2 hours later). The rest of the meal and pudding were very nice - but we were either unlucky with the meat or theyâd been sent sub-standard produce to serve.Weâll try again another time - but there are better places to have Sunday roast in the area.

Yet again we visited our favourite steak restaurant, Wednesday night a £ an ounce, so great value. We took 2 couples who had not been before and no one was disappointed. Great steaks, hot fries, cracking jus, cannot wait for our next visit.Friendly helpful staff as always and good atmosphere.
