I went for a meal at The Royal Sun last night with my husband, sister and brother in law. It was wonderful! The pub itself is decorated beautifully, and the food was fantastic, presented well and tasted amazing. We had the steak and ale pie, the burger and a steak, which all of us thoroughly enjoyed. Desserts were just as delicious. The lady serving was professional, very friendly and polite. If you havenât been to The Royal Sun lately you must go! We will definitely be returning soon for some of there weekday deals.

An unplanned stop on our way to Salisbury.Excellent lunch sitting on the patio. A warm day so the delicious gazpacho went down well. Followed up wth a blue cheese / endive salad and a hearty smoked salmon platter. Good food, well presented and at reasonable prices (for Oxfordshire!) Thoroughly recommended.

Very good meal with excellent welcome and service and mine hostâs home grown veggies. The fish sampler (I had hake and sea bass) was perfectly cooked, just the right quantity and the veggies were also very beautiful done and presented. My husbandâs calamari were crispy and tasty and so were the duck pancakes. A lovely location also by the church and restored village square. Really pleasant landlord - oh and the beers were good too!
