We used the 20% discount voucher and enjoyed a lovely dinner with a super desert. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good . Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is nicely decorated and parking was adequate. We've been here a few times over recent years and have never been disappointed

I was on an organised visit with our local National Trust group. We experienced a well planned tour of the brewery describing both the historical and current methods of manufacture along with associated equipment. Our guide Gary was a superb interesting and informative speaker, probably the best I have had the pleasure of listening to on my many National Trust visits. We had a group meal of sandwiches and chips which was of a high standard.a complimentary sample of three of their beers (a third of a pint of each type) was most welcome.Other visitors were dining in the restaurant and the food looked well presented and of good quality.Whether you visit solo,as a couple or a group I can highly reccomend the venue as an excellent half day visit.

Newly renovated by Almond Family Pubs, The Jolly Sailor has been given a new lease of light and is back to its former glory. The menu includes the Almond familyâs famous carvery but also includes an extensive menu alongside, with traditional pub classics
We come here a lot as itâs 100% better than our local. Carvery delicious - once had a cannelloni on as a meat alternative .Service can be odd as they seem to employ younger staff that might not be as familiar with a bar setting.Definite plus for me is they have nice wine glasses and for my partner Guinness is always delicious. All in all exactly what you expect a family pub to be - minus a playground which would be appreciated Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review us and for your five-star rating. We're pleased you and your partner enjoy joining us and we will look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regardsKate

A beautiful 18th century, Georgian ale house & eatery with function room facilities catering for all your special occasions. Our food menu rages from classic pub favourites to tapas & some dishes for the more culinary adventurous! All our food is freshly
Had an acceptable meal as usual, but missed the bubbly personality and friendliness of Dawn. Still all good things can come to an end. Where is she working now- another food establishment I hope. Somebody please let us know.
