Tried this place not knowing what it was like and we werenât disappointed. Lovely homely pub with lots of dark wood and paraphernalia on the walls. The waitress came over to take our order after we sat down. You can get drinks from the bar or the waitress will get it for you. Polite staff, the food was excellent. We liked it so much we returned the next day.

Visited here for dinner and were not disappointed. Lovely pub, great selection of drinks and delicious food. Portions are huge and the food is excellent. We enjoyed every mouthful of food and would highly recommend here if you are visiting Dublin.

After a long drive into Dublin city center, stuck long hours in the rush hour traffic, after finding accommodation at our hotel we finally enjoyed a short walk along the Liffey River to reach the JW Sweetmanâs Brewery. The helpful and friendly waiter offered us a nice table on the first floor of this typical and fully booked microbrewery. With my wife we choose two different types of beer, both very aromatic and fine. The food arrived a little bit later, well presented and also delicious. Always decent but nothing special - Chicken wings are always good, Philly cheese steak sandwich is average but a bit dry, and the salmon whilst cooked nicely itself, the whole dish (salmon, mash & mixed veg) was very dry and desperately needed a sauce.

Enjoyed an early evening supper with my husband and adult son. Quite a nice friendly restaurant with friendly staff. We were too early for the entertainment. My husband enjoyed the Cottage Pie, my son devoured his fish and chips and I had the Chicken Burger.

A family group of Five people with mixed requirements all had a very satisfying meal here with drinks recently. The place was not overly busy. The staff were friendly and helpful and kind. We had a wide ranging menu and all of us got something nice. Reasonably priced for evening food in a lovely location in a landmark pub in Dublin.

Party of 12 family members pub is fabulous really nice place and staff the food was awful and extremely overpriced and everyone agreed also charged for a pint of tap water wouldn't eat there again.

Stopped in after a search for pizza on TripAdvisor. Made a reservation online for 6. Everything was great- great wine, beer and non alcoholic homemade lemon-limeade. Wings were delicious. We each got a different pizza. Gluten free is available. Iâve had much better gluten feee pizza in America, but it was decent and everyone else LOVED their pizzas. There are about 15 different types of pizza to order from. 3 of us meet regularly in Kealys for breakfast meeting, Mandy is our usual server and she is brilliant, very helpful and pleasant to all customers, knows what we want before we even have to ask, the breakfast is always a high quality feed and never any complaints from any of us. We always look forward to our visit and enjoy the decor, the food and the excellent staff! Highly recommend! Enjoy
