We are a small and unique looking coffee shop, that looks like it has stopped in time somewhere in the first years of the 20th century. We work as a gastronomic pub and we offer an interesting variety of food options - from portuguese charcuterie and chee
The main dish was rice duck and it was just ok. It was eatable but I ate already that duck rice in the canteen of the university. The starters were good and as such it was the good part. The staff was rude. I don't know if it was because we found them that day not nice, but I did not like the way we were served. Regarding the restaurant, all the concept is nice, well decorated, but a group eating in old desks, is just cute.. not comfortable.14 euros per person, for the all dinner was too much.

A 3.5 star review.Pros - extensive tapas menu selection, friendly, attentive service and owners, good English spoken, lovely rose wine. Tapas was fine.Cons - cramped tables inside, my husband kept getting knocked by people walking past him. Desserts were disappointing - perhaps we had been too used to homemade desserts on our travels around north Portugal but these desserts were more of the "Sara Lee" variety sadly.Obrigado pela sua avaliaçao em nome de toda a equipa da Tasca do Sal.CumptsPedro Oliveira
