Attractive restaurant for the beautiful people of Venice Beach. We sat in the charming terrace outside where could marvel at the good weather and tables of ladies who lunch showing off ample evidence of plastic surgery. Very LA! The food was very good except for one dish: the roast chicken. When my partner told the waiter it was undercooked, he whisked it away only for a kitchen supervisor (not a chef) to return with the dish, saying that the kitchen had looked it over and could assure us the dish was fine. As my partner found out to her cost and embarrassment 90 minutes later, the dish was very much NOT ok. Enough said. We cannot believe that a chef every looked at the dish. Even worse if they did!

We had dinner here (having seen on TripAdvisor that it was near Hotel Erwin, where were staying - see separate review) and it was fine. Rather noisy for having a conversation but helpful and friendly service and pretty good food (though we only had snacks and they were sizeable). My husband was impressed with the beer selection. As some have mentioned it isnât cheap and the 18% service charge seemed a bit steep but weâd certainly return if in the area.

Came here via Trip Adviser recommendation. The place was small, narrow and dark. Many of the tables were raised with wire like seats. The hamburger was excellent and the fish tacos were very good as was the sliced steak sandwich. Beer was good, prices were a bit high.
