Farnham is a town in Surrey, England, within the Borough of Waverley. The town is 34.5 miles (55.5 km) southwest of London in the extreme west of Surrey, adjacent to the border with Hampshire. By road, Guildford is 11 miles (17 km) to the east and Winchester a further 28 miles (45 km) along the same axis as London. Farnham is the largest town in Waverley, and one of the five largest conurbations in Surrey. It is of historic interest, with many old buildings, including a number of Georgian houses. Farnham Castle overlooks the town. A short distance southeast of the town centre are the ruins of Waverley Abbey, Moor Park House and Mother Ludlam's Cave. Farnham is twinned with Andernach in Germany. It is drained by the River Wey (North Branch) which is navigable only to canoes at this point.

Booked the private room upstairs for breakfast while watching the RWC. Communication on meals and numbers was regular and without issue.The actual event was catered for like a 5-star restaurant with nothing being too much trouble. Everyone agreed the breakfasts were very good.Special mention to Adriana and Matt for looking after us. Second event already booked and there will be more in the future.Hi Mr B,Thank you very much for this review and very pleased that Matt and Adri did such a good job! Was looking for somewhere close to Farnham for Mother's Day lunch. None of us had been here before. Really helpful on the phone when making a booking for Four adults and two kids.Roast lunch was really yummy, I had pork (with great crackling), two adults had the roast lamb which looked good and the last adult the chilli con carne.Desserts - two of us had the raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake which was very good, my brother had the chocolate brownie which was huge and apparently very nice and the fourth adult had the sticky toffee pudding - also very nice.Great service and good food- what more could you ask for?!Thank you so much for your comments Megan. Hopefully we will see you again soon.

Lunch with 14 colleagues- a variety of lunches from sandwiches to salads and soup. I had large fish and chips and mushy peas. The latter were dried out, the fish medium Sized and little taste and the batter slightly seasoned only. Chips floury. It was okay but not that nice. Service was friendly but price wise it is on the high side!! Came in for some food with my partner. Really attentive and welcoming staff, the menu covers a massive variety of Italian dishes. I ordered bbq fiesta and my partner had meat feast, both were very tasty dishes. The restaurant and bar area are seperate so you can either have a sit down meal or be social at the bar. Thank you for your good service and amazing pizza!!
