They speak English here too, which makes it easier for us. Yes, a bit touristy on the port but not so much as those places further in. Our mains were excellent, the dessert of strawberries, apple and cream not so much (too much cream, and not so fresh) but it was ok.Mains of whole sea bass and the other of wild boar were juicy, tasty and well presented. Would recommend them both. Not too crowded, making it a peaceful meal.I think it would be a reliable place to go.

I generally avoid hotel restaurants and wish I'd done the same here. We chose it because it had the most interesting set of traditional corsican dishes. The problem was that it was unrelentingly traditional with its faux Roman architecture it's faux uniformed staff, and it's oh so dated presentation of food ( which arrived with unseemly haste). Meanwhile the staff look like they work there all year round and were just annoyed that this wasa busy week( in the middle of summer).

Had high expectations when arriving at this restaurant but rather disappointed with the food. Ordered duck for the main course....medium....sent it back to kitchen as although it looked pink medium cooked it was very tough. Dish later returned with waitress saying it had been re-cooked. I doubt it! It was not hot and the appearance and 'toughness' remained the same. Starter was OK...a galette of aubergine....but sadly, again rather disappointing. Can't now remember my husband's choices but suffice to say we did not order pudding or cheese and felt equivalent of £100 for dinner with one bottle of wine rather overpriced! The restaurant itself is very pleasing by way of décor, and the large outside terrace with great views is a delightful place to sit for dinner.

Homemade food ! Carte a l'ardoise prepared by a great team of true food lovers in a beautiful scenery! A must go and taste!
When we went there we were very excited because, despite enjoying food in various Michelin starred restaurants, we had never eaten in a restaurant so highly rated in TripAdvisor. Maybe because these very high expectations we were disappointed. The food was good but certainly not âexcellentâ. Menu is rather limited in choices. Service was very nice. Wine list is ok but more limited than expected. The prices in this restaurant, however, are far too high (25-30%) for the culinary quality offered. So, we have rated this restaurant lower to help them manage expectations.

We called in to Chez Leon as we were passing through Cateri on our way back to our hotel in Muro. It was early evening and the owner and staff were relaxing, but they opened the bar for us and served us drinks and snacks whilst waiting for the restaurant to open. The view from the terrace was excellent, though it was too chilly for us to sit outside. The wild boar stew was tender and tasty, and I enjoyed my deep-fried tempura courgettes. Overall, there was a pleasant atmosphere with helpful, attentive staff.

Spécialités de viandes Corses, cuisson au feu de bois. Le restaurant ne prend pas la carte bancaire.
The restaurant has a beautiful garden, so you sit in a romantic ambience underneath trees. Sometimes there is some live music, they play guitar and sing songs in french, corsican or spanish. The staff was very nice, not only professional but also amicable, when we went there the second time they recognized us and we were even welcomed by handshake. The food and wine was delicious and cooked above average. It's not cheap but also not especially expensive and definetly worth the price. We ca. 30⬠per person, wine included. I had both times meat which was very soft and tender. I would have only wished, that they serve not only potatoes with the meat, but also a little bit of vegetable. This restaurant was a highlight during our holidays!
