Arrived without expectations and were very pleasantly surprised, by the quality and originality of the dishes, and by the reasonableness of the price of the 25⬠"menu fraîcheur", which included choice of entree, main dish, and dessert! In fact, we had such a wonderful meal we returned two nights later for our final meal in Lyons. Nice decoration, choice of dining inside or outside. We dined inside and appreciated the calm and the ability to converse easily. Friendly service, not overbearing. We'll definitely return!

Brought a colleague here to celebrate a work anniversary and it did not disappoint. The welcome, ambiance and building are superb and stunning. I loved the dining room and there was a super nice buzz. The set menu is really good value but my colleague wanted to try the asparagus and I wanted the John Dory which were on the suggestions. We both agreed we would not be able for both starter and main courses (as the desserts also looked great!) and reckoned sharing would make sense. Our waitress didn't seem to appreciate this idea but it worked out fine in the end even if we managed ourselves. My colleague had a dessert which looked divine but I was already too full. Coffees to finish and I can't wait to go back. The only thing not making it perfect was the attitude of the waiting staff to the idea of sharing - surely it can't be that unusual!! This is my kind of place: an excellent table, good service, beautiful setting. Unfortunately it had rained and we missed being able to eat on the terrace. Not sure why they sat most of the guests in a curtained-off portion of the restaurant which was a shame as we did not enjoy the nicest part of the beautiful decor. The food was delicious. The house apértif with fresh strawberry juice and champagne was memorable!

The food, from the amuse-bouche through dessert, was both delicious and artful without being fussy. Service was attentive, not intrusive, and cow's milk issues and dreadful French were both cordially accommodated. Reasonable prices, too, including those on the wine list. Decor is very basic, but you will hardly notice.

I love vegetables but invariably chefs find it difficult to produce, wonderful, inventive dishes without the star being meat or fish. Not here! Everything from the amuse Bouche to the dessert was incredible. A purée of carrots with carrot jelly and diced carrot was fresh and full of flavour. My risotto of fine herbs and tomatoes, was light and fresh with the aroma of the south of France in summer. The piece de resistance was a chocolate and blonde brownie with chocolate mouse. So delicious it was a taste of heaven.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Obviously passionate about what they were doing. A really fantastic find.

Simple food, interesting combinations. Ate here 3 times this week. Mushroom puree with beef to die for and interesting take on croque monsieur with home made bun. Friendly service, husband wife and son not all at the same time. Simple menu with 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts with 1 item changed per course per week.

What a lovely, interesting, surprising meal...fantastic ingredients, expertly cooked.... well deserved first spot...highly recommend a visit..Had the six courses, with matched wine....well worth it..not to much food, not to little...my only suggestion is to keep the wine coming...making people wait with empty glasses...Thank you Carmen for your feedback, highly appreciated ! This restaurant was amazing. The atmosphere, the waiter, and the food were all beyond excellent. We had the four course tasting menu with wine pairing, and were thrilled with each course. The area is not your traditional touristy area, but do not be put off by that. The food and wine are outstanding!
