Hadnât been to the Counting House for quite some time and forgot how good the food is. Over the past few weeks have been several times. The menu two for £10.99 mon-thurs has much more variety to choose from. Iâve had the chicken, bacon and leek pie, delicious and also the steak and ale pie, simple delicious. Other members of my family love the fajitas (chicken & steak) absolutely mouthwatering. One member of the family needs her meals to be gluten free and The Counting House has a separate vegetarian and gluten free menu. In the gluten free there is not a lot to choose from but she was more than impressed with the presentation and how tasty her meal was. So impressed was she we went back two weeks in a row. The desserts are scrumptious too. Value for money 10/10Variety on Two for £10.99 10/10Presentation 10/10Food 10/10Staff 10/10 canât do enough for you. So pleasant and very attentive. Recommended by the visitors to the farmouse we were staying at and we were definitely not disappointed. Exellent quality roast sirloin of beef and perfectly cooked quality vegetables, and huge quantity of meat and veg. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.
