We ended up in this restaurant by chance, and were very happy that we had done so. The food, wine and the service were all very good. A visit to the inner yard of the old building was an extra bonus.

This time round we ate dinner several times, including one meal with family. It's been updated and now looks pleasantly modern - but they've retained the superb 1970s ceiling lights (though no longer orange) and the pizza oven. Large pizza menu, shorter non pizza menu. Limited but pleasant local wine selection - we had an outstanding local rosato one night - well, two actually - it was that good! The food is simple - and well executed. It's very much family run, clientele are 99.9% locals - and we loved it.

Excellent Family-Run Restaurant with wide range of Italian dishes.We have visited this restaurant for many years and found the staff very friendly and always willing to help, even if it is not on the normal menu.The pizzas are great and a local favorite.

We were the only English people in the place, so if it's good enough for the locals then it's good enough for us!! Very good home cooked food especially the fish , very reasonably priced and good prices for wine/beer etc. Very pleasant helpful staff.

Piccola Osteria sita nel centro storico del paese. Cucina veloce, ciò vuol dire che tutte le pietanze vengono preparate al momento. Piatti tradizionali a base di pesce e carne, ma non solo... Venite a trovarci per scoprire la nostra tradizione...

Young people (brothers and sister, sister Sorenna, seems to be al most Matriarchal, in a good way) who are proud of their Calabrian heritage and cook the foods, in what I would guess, as their Grandparents would have cooked and eaten.Very reasonably priced and some good quality wines as well.Been there a few times now and will return when next in Amantea, which will be soon.
