Find out what Gastropub restaurants to try in Aalborg. If Aalborg were a house, the real estate agent would sell it as "loaded with potential." The 1,000-year-old city is Denmark’s fourth largest, and boasts a Viking past, over 300 restaurants, a casino, lively nightlife and great shopping. The zoo breeds rare Siberian Tigers, and the Waterland and Tivoliland make it a great place for families to visit. Aalborg isn’t a hotspot for foreigners, yet. But we’ll watch as the waterfront of this busy port continues to gentrify, with expectations it will be one in the future.

I had one of the best sandwiches ever! I had the Notorious P.I.G. on a gluten free bun and delicious fried with a garlic aioli for dipping. The GF bun was perfect, very difficult to find. The service was friendly and helpful. Wish we had a Wildebeest Gastropub around the corner!

A stylish and cozy café with Down to Earth atmosphere. A huge selection of wine by the glass, cocktails. our menu contains something for everybody - tapas, salad, pasta, and a 4 course Menu for the evening traditional Danish dishes both for lunch and dinn
New wine bar that opened in August 2017, combining wine, dining and cocktails. The setting is stylish but laid-back, staff is friendly and attentive, creating a good starting point for a pleasant experience. The wines are, unsurprisingly, dominated by American stuff, but some good European stuff too. Menu combines tapas with more traditional modern dishes, think perhaps of an upmarket bistro - and the sweets are great too. Prices are not overwhelming, so already plotting to go back.

If we ever have guests to visit us in Denmark, we bring them here. Our recent fourth visit did not disappoint - the food and wine is amazing. The service is friendly and helpful and the restaurant has a generally relaxed atmosphere. Consistently brilliant, we would recommend Vino y Pintxos to everyone.

After a delightful dinner at Fellini down the street, my wife decided we should have a cup of coffee somewhere else. We went to Vesteraa which is a informal pub/café with a cool atmosphere. And by that I mean cool in the tourist sence of the word. My wife liked it there so it was good for me as well.
