Long fought over by warring empires, the city of Yerevan survived centuries of foreign occupation, finally becoming independent with the fall of the Soviet Union. This capital city, a center of Armenian culture, has celebrated its freedom with a flurry of construction and a growing population. Despite this push forward, history survives in Yerevan - The Institute of Ancient Manuscripts houses books dating back to the 9th century, and the ruins of the Erebuni Fortress, built in 782 BC, still stand.

we just loved this place. One of our group is celiac and hadnt really eaten a proper meal during our holiday as we had been travelling and not found anywhere that was 100% gluten free on dishes on the menu. This place was perfect and its clearly stated which dishes were .The garden setting was really pretty and service was good. Its not a cheap place to eat but worth the money. We were lacking veg & salad dishes during our trip so ordered a main dish of each to share with our own main meals. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection . i would defo say give this place a go with friends or for a romantic night out.

I have been there with my colleagues for a business dinner. It is a double-floor restaurant with outdoor sections. Location is good - it's in downtown, but there can be issues with parking. Smokers seat outside, so there is no cigarette smoke inside, which is great itself. Staff is helpful. Design is modern. As it follows from its name, this restaurant is a grill house with nice choice of wines. Salads are delicious, stakes are great. Portions are not too big though - just enough. Prices are high enough even for Yerevan downtown. However, the place is popular, so better book your table in advance. Overall impression is positive. I recommend this restaurant for its good service and tasty food. Sure if you are ready to pay prices way over average.

I'm used to restaurants in Armenia... when they open it's good, and for most of them with time the quality declines. I know this place since its opening day, and I must say it's one of the few places that kept the food quality! Sure the dishes are a bit expensive for Armenia but it's located on Abovian street, and the quantities and quality are above average. The wines (at least local wines, I don't know for imported) aren't expensive at all for a restaurant (if you take the bottle)Clearly a place to visit. For sure I'll be back the next time I'll be in town.
