I decided based upon seeing the courtyard on a walk that I had to return to eat. I am so glad I found this gem. The young men working were friendly, enthusiastic, and took joy in their work and presentation. Our meal was delicious and at 3 courses for 100 pesos, it was a steal of a deal! The menu for the day included tangerine water, bread & butter, your choice of tortilla or mushroom soup, salad, and your choice of grilled meats, pumpkin bolognese, or potato lasagna (vegetarian). Highly recommend stopping in for a meal and, I plan to return before we leave Valle! We returned! The menu was: carrot soup or rice with veggies, salad, and your choice of grilled meats, meatloaf or chard ravioli. Delicious! Thanks for visit us. We Will be Glad to have you here the nex time. We spent one of the most memorable afternoons at Crater 16! The food is to die for, especially the "fideo a los cuatro chiles" and the oven-baked pizzas. Additionally the terrace is a delight, with a pond and variety of plants that keep the atmosphere fresh and lovely. Definitely a must! The owner and host is one of the most knowledgeable people I've met when it comes to food and wine. What a treat!

We tried a few restaurants that were top rated on Tripadvisor and this one was way better. It's Italian food but there are bits of inventive mexican influence in the dishes, especially for breakfast. Really excellent food with still very reasonable prices by foreign standards.

Italian Food Restaurante in Valle de Bravo and Avandaro, Estado de Mexico. Enjoy the best meal, in the best place with an unique service for you.
Tried two dishes: zucchini spaghetti and vegetarian pizza. The pizza for the price was a very small portion and nothing special, the cheese was weird and the crust wasn't great. The spaghetti had a light balsamic sauce, tasted fine and lots of veggies but for the price it wasn't that great either. If you want really good pizza go to El Faro - it's outstanding!
