Marum features a winning mix of creative local cuisine, and is named after the Moringa, or 'Tree of life' - very appropriate, as customers will be enjoying a fantastic dining experience that helps build a new life for the students in training there!
Ambience was cozy and peaceful, open air dining with ceiling fans, was very cooling, lovely paintings on the walls. Food was very good, we absolutely loved everything we ordered, it was plated very presentably. And the service is as usual, great! The servers are young Cambodian kids under training and they took very good care of us. They also have an interesting shop next door that sells creations by cambodians, and a great one stop for a meal and souvenir shopping in my opinion.

Chef Mengly has developed a unique culinary view that great food should be fun yet sophisticated, innovative yet familiar and expressive. Chef Menglyâs approach to the Pou Restaurant and Bar which menu was one of simplicity with an injection of freshness
Had the most amazing, tender beef lok lak here (a traditional Khmer dish). The beed was done as a steak (rather than chopped up) and was incredibly tender - and the accompanying kampot pepper sauce was also very nice. Relaxed location with areas to lounge and reasonable prices too!Well worth a visit.Dear Haddo,We strive every day to ensure our guests have a wonderful meal and a marvelous time at our restaurant and it is extremely encouraging for someone to tell us. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us. It really means a lot to me and to everyone on our staff. While compliments are always appreciated.Thank you again for your kind review. Great place to chill away from the crowds. Great music, food, drinks and staff. The cocktails are amazing as everything is great value for broke backpackers like us. Perry the poodle cross and jul moy the Weimaraner cross are lovely for a squidge. :)

Georgeâs son Sebastian welcomed us from the start and made sure our meal was divine. They even permit a corkage fee. The food was local fusion with his Reunion Island background added in for creativity and additional interest. The chutneys and piments were outstanding. The service was attentive and friendly. Hats off the the owners. We highly recommend this restaurant. Donât walk, run-or take a a short took took.Good day Harvey, thank you for your kind words. DID - Dine in the Dark: Siem Reap is a restaurant for a cause. We are proud and dedicated to help visually impaired, blind people in Siem Reap by training them to the food and beverage job (waitress, waiter) and employ them as Guide in our restaurant. We
As a place to have a meal, I have my reservations, because to enjoy good food, one must actually see the food. But as an experience, it is something unique. The main point of the experience is interacting with your blind guide while youâre having your meal in complete darkness. That is the real value. The blind guides are well trained. It is a chance to talk with them about things that can be awkward in any other setting. Thus, one comes out enriched. The food, which is secret until you have finished it, tastes very good. However, the main purpose is not essentially a dining experience.Hello FMoz, Thanks a lot for dining at our restaurant and making the effort to leave us your comments.Everybody working at DID- Dine in the dark Siem Reap are helpful and friendly. Our staff work extremely hard to ensure everybody likes their meal with us. I will pass your remarks back to our team.We were happy to learn that you really liked our food. We have a wide selection on our menu which is suited to everybody. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us. Enjoy the remainder of your time in Cambodia.Greetings from all DID restaurant's team!

a friendly gourmet restaurant positioned on the wedding flavors of French cuisine and Khmer products. Kitchen vision. Creative foods. Fooding.
Found this small french restaurant run by Philipe and Team. From start to finish the food and service was excellent, we had the 4 course tasting menu, great value for quality, each dish stood out and thereâs 2 variations or each course. They also have a good a la carte menu and daily specials. In Europe this would be a high standard restaurant and in Siem reap I think you canât go wrong, quality of food and trust in good ingredients.Phillips takes time to come out the kitchen and is genuine in wanting you to enjoy great food.I think most people would pay more for a Great night of food.Well done and thank you, we donât usually go back to same restaurant on short stays but we came back after 4 nights.Easy choice, just go and enjoy! Itâs a small restaurant so maybe book! Menu has good choices for most palettes and he will adapt if necessary Iâm sure.

Saw the reviews and had to try for lunch! First of all the owners and staff are friendly and perfect! We were brought fresh cashews and salty green pepper corns to start, when I commented to the owner how huge and incredible the cashews were he showed me a video on the village where they are grown and how he is working with them to get a higher price for them instead of the low price they were getting. The restaurant has a photo display and has both the cashews and pepper corns available for purchase. I bought both for gifts as I love the story and quality. We had the pineapple salad and banana chocolate pancakes both were delicious. We finished with the honey lime mountain which tastes a lot like key lime pie and was to die for on a hot day! We will be back for that for sure only I wonât be sharing! I highly recommend eating and visiting here! Great little oasis.
