The food was average, at best, but had expensive prices. It was served by inefficient staff members who had trouble getting orders correct, and did not fill drink orders correctly. The tables are packed in together so conversation is difficult.I am very disappointed to hear that you found our service to be below your standards. We strive to ensure that all our customers in the restaurant receive the best service and quality of the food that in its entirety are organic and prepared instantly without any artificial ingredients.We would like to know more. We had some of our best restaurant visit at Los Gallos. Emanuel, the chef, is doing a remarkable job and is pleased to chat with his customers. We had a delicious piece of beef served with a plantin banana and smoked mozarella as well as a generous portion of shrimp rice. Both meals served with a local coleslaw. Only thing I would change: I wouldn't serve rice with potatoes as a side dish, I'd rather have something light. Excellent house-limonade!Don't be reluctant because of the renovation work going on. It stopped as (or because of) we arrived.

They were actually closed but still made us an order to go! Great service and absolutely amazing food! The nicest, sweetest owner, and the nachos were life changing. Weâll definitely be back next time weâre here!

So we decided to leave La Fortuna a little early due to the heavy downpour and the probability of heavier traffic but didn't consider that we had no idea that we would be ready to eat by the time we reached San Ramon.As luck would have it, we saw that several others had apparently been in a similar situation and we decided to stop and give Chepes a try.We drove by without stopping the first time because it looked closed. Thankfully, we went around the block and this time we got out to check - turns out the restaurant was open but because they didn't have any customers, they had turned the lights out!Glad we stopped because this ended up being one of our favorite meals from the trip. We had a farm burger, chicken caprese and a cajun shrimp dish. All cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice.Our server was very helpful and her suggestions were perfect! Super clean dining room and restrooms and the prices are very reasonable!We'll stop in San Ramon for Chepes again!

Enjoyed a nice lunch here with friends. Huge menu with lots of variety - something for everyone. Full bar with a variety of specialty drinks. There is a playground out front for the litter ones. Also has a hotel attached which has rooms available. Prices vary but stay pretty much in the mid-range.
