We stayed at Angelfish Cove Villas which was just down the road and we wandered down and had lunch which was well priced and so relaxing sitting by the water with a nice cold beer. We also took our own lobster down for dinner one night and had it cooked up for around $18aud which gave you a large plate of chips and salad. This is also the place you can get a water taxi into town. Takes about 30mins and costs around $12AUD per person each way

The layout is very open at this restaurant and there are multiple different outside areas to sit, depending how you feel. The service is very professional, friendly and interactive. I ordered a traditional âbougnaâ which is a coconut cream dish, however on the menu it came with chicken. I asked if I could have a vegetable version and they adapted the dish for me, which was amazing of them - As if it wasnât for that, I wouldâve of ended up having sides because there wasnât any vegan dishes on the menu!

Ripples on the Bay, Vanuatu, is a small, four room resort and weekend restaurant, located on beautiful Teouma Bay, a twenty five minute drive out of Vanuatu's capital, Port Vila. Our restaurant has a small but varied menu, and is open to the public for lu
Had drinks and appetizers at sunset. The setting is great for sunset. The specialty drinks were very good but a bit pricey. The shrimp triangles were really delicious and highly recommend trying them. The other appetizers were good.Dear worldtravellerruth11,Thanks for taking the time to write this review of Ripples, and thanks for coming to visit us. Those prawn (shrimp) triangles are perennially popular with our guests. When you mention specialty drinks, I guess you mean cocktails, and the reason that they are so good is that we use only premium name spirits and liqueurs, and fresh ingredients (lime, coconut, mango, etc.), to make them. You'll find that prices are on a par with other restaurant/bars in Vanuatu,All the best,Sally

With our truly breathtaking absolute beach front location , our fine dining, yet casually relaxed restaurant, is considered to be the best in Vanuatu and is renowned for its pavilion styled, open-air al fresco dining. We also offer our beachside chapel ve
Mostly I agree with other reviewers about the food and location. But I did have a bit of a problem with the atmosphere. There was live music but it was far too loud meaning that everyone had to speak loudly to be heard. With everyone speaking loudly it was hardly a relaxing atmosphere. The other problem we had was on arrival. There were 5 of us and they said they didnât have space despite the fact that there were three empty tables for two right in front of us. After some discussion, they agreed to push two tables together and seat us there. How hard was that? But clearly, they didnât want to make this tiny extra effort to accommodate us.HI Ron, thank you for your review and nice comments about our food and location. Im sorry the atmosphere wasn't to your liking. We were fully booked on the day you arrived as most of our Sunday lunches are now as our live music on a Sunday is very popular. As reviewers will see we are very accommodating with all guest and visitor requests but we do point out the tables you mention were available were the side tables in the entrance to the restaurant which we are an issue to rearrange easily without disturbing others. Reservations in advance are recommended but we will always do our utmost to find a table for anyone who comes to visit us and it is rare to turn anyone away.Im glad we found room for your group and if live music isn't your thing then Saturdays are also a very popular day at Tamanu as well and would be very happy to welcome you then. Thanks again for visiting Tamanu and experiencing our restaurant and do hope to see you back againBest regardsGlen
