Reviews on Fusion food in Pontevedra, Province of Pontevedra, Spain. Pontevedra (Galician: [ˌponteˈβɛðɾa], Spanish: [ponteˈβeðɾa]) is a Spanish city in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. It is the capital of both the Comarca (County) and Province of Pontevedra, and of the Rias Baixas in Galicia. It is also the capital of its own municipality which is, in fact, often considered as an extension of the actual city. Pontevedra is the provincial district court seat.

Used TripAdvisor recommendation to find and try this interesting restaurant in the historic quarter of Pontevedra. They have interesting multi cuisine fusion choices on the menu and unique drink specialties. I tried their âfogar dos peixesâ drink which comes in a small fishbowl and has little cutout shapes of fish made of orange and lime peel that float in the blue colored drink. Very attentive service in a cool environment.

We have visited Pontevedra many times. Decided to treat ourselves and eat somewhere new. What a lovely experience. Lots of gluten free choices. Amuse bouche to start. Then scallops ceviche with soya sauce absolutely delicious, roast cod. The best for me was the coffee desert with liqueur.. absolutely blew my mind-recommended by waiter. One of the best deserts I have ever tasted. â¬105 for 2. Worth every penny. The service was perfect the waiters gave explanation and recommendations. My husband unfortunately had been stung by a bee and they kindly wrapped an ice cube in cling film to soothe chin! Thank you.

Its decoration is modern but tasty and comfy. It's not very big so I advise advance booking because it's trendy and gets full on weekends. It serves tasty oversized tapas with a touch of Japan, Oriental, local. The quality is very good as is the taste. One of the waiters made a mistake with our order and brought undesired spicy pasta but corrected it very quickly when informed, offering any other dish in exchange free of charge and apologies -all very nicely and professionally done. I'd especially reccommend the tempura (simply delicious) and the tostas. The dessert -brownie- was delectable though not too big. Maybe one critic would be the quantity in the soft drink bottles, a bit scanty -22cl- for my taste, makes it look a bit mean, for the rest no complaints. I find it reasonably priced as well. Easy to eat fairly for some 15 euros each.

La Culpa de la Gula, a cozy restaurant located in the old town, with local food elaborated in our own way.Different and surprising.
Only open three months when we came but the food at Gula is incredible! Portion sizes are good, service is excellent and friendly, and wonderful wine too! I wish I was staying longer than the day in Pontevedra to try more of their menu!

What a great dinner me and my girlfriend just had at this place. Menú del noche was wonderfully prepared and accompanied by good wine (included in the menu). Three course dinner and glass of wine (and bottle of complementary water) all for a very reasonable price. The lady who served us was very patient with my lack of Spanish (only like three words) and was willing to explain very slowly once more (and once more...) what the menu options were -- so great Spanish practice ánd great dinner at the same time.Atmosphere was also good. Highly recommend this place (way better than 'better ranked' (touristy) restaurants)Only downside is that I might not feel hungry for breakfast tomorrow morning..
