Only 5 minutes or so from Coolum, a bit further from Noosa, but either way well worth the drive. A modern hotel restuarant that is spacious and modern and appealing. And a great and diverse menu matched by some great craft beers. We really enjoyed the food, the beer and the welcoming staff. But one thing - when the glass is empty offer to fill it up, and when the mains are finished ask about desserts. Overall though great!

Quality and comfortable bistro with a relaxing river atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor (pet friendly) dining. Not fine dining but good enjoyable every day meals, some of the entrees are more interesting than the mains.Good wine list with value like the Mudgee house wine to a good Izway Barossa Shiraz.

Relying on high TA ratings we decided on dinner at WB. Welcomed by very knowledgeable and engaging host who assisted our selections of food and drinks. Good fare of generous portions of pate entree and our beef mains choices; overall reasonable prices and a pleasing experience.

Canteen Kitchen & Bar at beautiful Coolum Beach is the quintessential beachside eatery that offers something for everyone with an ambience guaranteed to relax visitors & locals alike. The gentle sea breezes, views north to Noosa and great surf break just
The Canteen was our go to for breakfasts on this trip. Why? Great menu with excellent cooked and fresh fruit based options. And it has a great view of Coolum beach, in the morning sun. But the coffee is at best average, certainly not up to NZ standard. And we did not dine in the evening as the beer options are extremely traditional. Today is the era of craft beers and in 2019 there are good ones brewed nearby - try them, I have and they are great and would get us here!Thank you for your review Kenz. I am glad you enjoyed our breakfasts and the wonderful view at Canteen. I apologise that our coffee is not to your liking. We do have qualified baristas on our machine. Our head barista has been with us for over 2 years, she is full time and works 5 mornings per week. I do appreciate your comments on our beer selection and I will take this on board when reviewing our selection for our Spring Menu. However, we do have craft beers on tap and in bottles. We do only have 4 taps, which include Heads of Noosa Japanese Lager or Balter Pale Ale, Mountain Goat Steam Ale, Asahi and Stone and Wood. So, of our 4 taps, 3 are craft beers and 1 international beer. We also stock Young Henry's Newtowner, Your Mate's Larry's Pale ale in Cans and Burleigh Big Head No Carb Lager along with 16 other styles of beer. I am wondering if you came in at happy hour and only read our happy hour selection which is a choice of 4 beers which rotate both craft beers, local and international beers.Again, thank you for your comments, as mentioned above we will take all feedback on board to improve Canteen's future offerings.
