Move all the way here after reading about this place in Fodors and on TripAdvisor. Their website does not mention anything about being closed. But when we got here, it look like the place had been locked up tight for quite some time. Maybe they are closed and rainy season, I donât know. But at least put up some signage, at least put on your website, at least do something to let people know. We drove around trying to figure out if there was an alternate entrance we were just missing something, but nothing. Hola Michelle, yo soy Sebastien, el chef de Cafe Liberia, lo siento por su decepcion, y entiendo que puede ser frustrante de encontrar nuestro restaurante cerrado, pero tuvimos que cerrar por asunto familiar personal, y tuve que ir en Europa de emergencia.hemos puesto un rotulo en la puerta, pero, posiblemente alguien lo quito.No pienso que eso vale el mal comentario que usted nos dejo...pero asi es, no somos maestros de nuestra vida.Saludos,Sebastien

Those were my husband's exact words! I couldn't believe how pleased all our friends were as we accidentally stumbled on to this small but accommodating spot. Exhausted from a day of running around and shopping in the city, we happened upon El Patio. First we all ordered a different flavored smoothie and they were at a good price, huge and delicious! The service was relaxed and not hurried but not slow either. The food again was a fair price for a good portion and very flavorful. Well, you know my husband's opinion, best fish he's ever had! Check it out if your off shopping in the city. If your not familiar driving in Liberia, try downloading first the app Map.me and it should help you find all your shopping needs! Pura Vida!

We landed at the Liberia Airport at around 6:30 am - it had been a long 7+ hour flight that left our home city at 11:30 pm (the night before). Needless to say, we were tired and hungry. After picking up our rental car we stopped at the Hilton Hotel and had breakfast. The service and food was excellent and it was very reasonably priced. All and all, a great start to our vacation.

The hot schezuan noodles with oyster soup and fried crabs was just delicious and lip-smacking. Also, the prices of all the recipes were quite affordable.
