The restaurant is well adapted to this area of creative, colourful, imaginative works of art and the décor inside echoes the themes of âart+coâ (art company?). 2018 CHINESE YEAR of DOGThe million and one dalmation dogs/GIANT DOGGY DALMATIAN will move every 30 minutes, shaking their body parts coherently but not barking.ENVIRONMENTStyle is a combo of natural greens on the wall, a Mao poster, a modern art poster, sleek and sharp furnishing, and the dinosaur-sized DOG.The toilets are situated behind the dog, with a Charlie Chaplin and Ballerina guiding guests left and right (I thought females were always on the ârightâ side) SERVICESatisfactory service from staffMENUEuropean set meals and business lunches available. Guojia rouzhong is one of the recommend food if you're in Kaoxiong and when you don't know what to eat, must try the rouzhong and the zhu-jiao-tang(pork knuckle soup). pork knuckle was best from to use as deep fry, grill, or even boil by soy sauce, and by the sound of putting it into the soup it really does sound nasty, but when i tried it, damn, it was better than i expected, the there was literally no odor, and got this light flavorful taste. it's simple just enjoying the simple things in life.èç²½åè±¬è ³æ¹¯æ¯å¿ é»çæ±è¥¿,大é¨åé客ä¸æè·å°éä¸åæ以ä¸ç¨æå¾é·çé,ä¹ä¸ç¨å¾å°ä¸ä¸æ¹,裡é¢çå¡å·¥é½æ¯è人家,å¯æ¯ä»åé度å¾å¿«,人é½å¾è¦ªå :)

Being one of the oldest hotel in Kaohsiong, I must say the restaurant's food quality is fairly good but not impressive. However, the service is excellent so I would highly recommend it to be an ideal Breakfast/Brunch or Afternoon Tea gathering site for families and friends.

LOCAL BANQUETThe English name seems incongruous with the Chinese name, which is simply âBIG EIGHTâ. The number eight in Chinese culture is very lucky and auspicious for good fortune and prosperity. The name is extremely attractive for faithful patronage of local customers. I recall this popular restaurant ever since I first moved here over 20 years ago.FOODWith multiple stores in the Kaohsiung city, this brand has been synonymous with Japanese style food. Over time, with the addition of other Asian influences and flavors, the brand has maintained a delightful dining standard and the Cantonese style cuisine is also now a specialty feature of their dining experience.ENVIRONMENTThere are several floors with multiple dining halls and chambers. Have been to several corporate business banquets here and happy with the standard of service, food and ambience. This branch is near MRT HanShin Arena.

Stopped by here today for lunch. Sushi selection was good but elsewhere the selection was less impressive. The desserts offered a good selection and was appealing I'm sure to anyone with a sweet tooth! Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Service fair but no wifi. Drinks are included in the price of the buffet, so help yourself.DEAR SIRThank you for your comments, the restaurant is to provide a wireless network, we will go to understand the situation. This restaurant is located on 43 floor of Grand Hi-Lai Hotel. The decoration and layout of the restaurant is fantastic. The foods layout is wide spread which include western foods, Japanese and local.The ice coffee is very good. The only minus is you can't see the outside view.
