Experience a fresh take on International fare in Jaipur at Okra, our award-winning restaurant and cafe. Sample a variety of exquisite, global delicacies from our comprehensive buffet or order a delicious meal from our popular a la carte menu.
We ate twice in the Okra restaurant which provides a buffet dinner. The selection was excellent with varied offerings including cook to order, a pasta section, Indian street food section a good variety of breads, many vegetarian dishes. Service was pleasant and efficient. It was a bit of a downer that we could not charge any expenses to the room and had to pay at the table. So, the first night we had satisfactory food and service, The second night was vastly different. Firstly most of the food was cold and a lot of the chaffing dishes empty and no sign of urgency to refill them. The biggest issue was with the wine. When we sat down we immediately order an Indian red wine. We went to get our starters and when we returned to the table there was one wine glass but no wine. We queried with the waiter and went to get our maincourses. When we got back to the table a second wine glass was on the table but no wine. We queried and were told they didn't have that wine so we said we would take white instead. We went to choose our desserts and returned to the table to be told they didn't have that wine either. At that stage we ordered beer which doesn't pair well with dessert. The issue was raised with the manager who was apologetic and when I checked out I was told it my visit was complementary. I declined and paid my bill as I was happy to pay for what I had no problem with. The second night's dinner was a very disappointing experience in a hotel of this quality and a mystery that the two nights were so different.Dear Guest,Namaste!Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us.Please accept my sincere apologies for your disappointment with the quality of food on the second day dining experience. The "The Forresta Kitchen & Bar", a fine dining restaurant at Devraj Niwas Hotel on the theme of a forest with lots of trees and greenery to give true feral experiences. Once guest have finished admiring the surroundings, they can get to the equally impor
Forresta is really a nice place and also very spacious. You will really like the green environment here and the ambience which is completely surrounded by pebbles and lush green environment. Coming to food I really like the way in which they presented the chakhna and also paneer tikka tacos were amazing. In drinks LIT was really nice and hand beaten coffee was also really well. You will really love this place if you have a love with forests and green environment.
