Discover Restaurants offering the best Fusion food in Ithaca, New York, United States. "Ithaca is gorges" can be read on proud t-shirts across New York State, and there is definitely truth in advertising. Sitting on the shores of Cayuga Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes, the hilly town of Ithaca is surrounded by dense forests, towering waterfalls, and many gorges. The natural beauty has a distinctly academic feel, as local universities have filled the woods with museums and education centers like The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, which features a 220 acre wildlife sanctuary.

MIX is modern, yet with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. An impressive steakhouse with a multi ethnic small plate menu, which offers guests a chance to experience multiple dishes and flavors throughout their meal. Creative cocktails and decadent desserts add
Loved the food but we were party of 7 & no one ordered a steak. And apparently the restaurant switched over to being a steakhouse within the last month. That may explain why the waitress didnât know the 6 bears on tap. Not sure I understand why the appetizer was served with our entree. Nor did she offer to get us drinks first. We simply just ordered everything then. Odd. And I found her to be slightly annoyed for no reason. But the food was very good.... Caesar salad was a hit (especially with my kids!), everyone loved the sliders... short rib & cheeseburger. The bread they give you is delicious! But I was unimpressed with the service. And the glass blown decorations... date the restaurant! Curious to see how this restaurant does because there are so many in downtown Ithaca. This was almost a mile away.

First time here although I've passed by many many times. The outside is drab and uninviting. The inside is very nice. Fast service. Good Japanese sushi rolls. The fresh seafood Korean pancake (Heamul Pajun) was outstanding! We'll be back again and again.

A brick and mortar, quick service restaurant inspired by street vendors, carts, and trucks from across the country and the globe.
This place tries to recreate about 5 different food trucks. Asian, Latin, American, Indian, baseball stadium parking lot.... We've only been once, but will sure go back soon. Very friendly staff, circulating to make sure your order (which you place on iPads or at the back counter) is correct and you're happy with the food. Be prepared to take out or share your table during the busiest times. Clog your arteries with amazing duck fat fries. Well-located for anyone who's on your way to the State Theater or Cinemapolis and wants good, quick food that will get you to your event on time.

Luna is a brick & mortar, quick service restaurant inspired by street vendors, carts & trucks from across the country & the globe. Check out either of our locations for a quick bite or hang at bar for some of the best nightlife in Ithaca.
Luna on Aurora Street is in the heart of the restaurant district in downtown Ithaca. Luna suffers by being surrounded by many better restaurants. It does have good points, however. There is seating inside and on the sidewalk, and the garage-like doorfront opens so that you can sit in the cool inside and still feel as though you are dining outside. Ordering is easy - you do so at a kiosk inside and the staff brings the food out to you. Feels a bit like fast food in terms of process, but the food and setting is a bit better. We tried the pork belly bao buns and the banh mi sandwich. The bao buns were savory and delicious. The banh mi was good, but a little light on the pickled veggies and a little heavy on the jalapeno - there are better banh mi sandwiches in Ithaca. Prices are moderate and service was prompt. Would try this place again, but maybe for some other dishes.
