Sun Ra is one of those places in life where once you go, you wonder why you didn’t try it before. From the road side the exterior is an unassuming Caribbean wooden house set in a pretty garden lit up by dancing lights in the trees. You head through the wo
Hubby and I ate here when we visited Antigua in March and found it to be casual, relaxed, and enjoyable. The food was good, the views were lovely, the service was friendly, and the breeze was refreshing. Hubby said the Mahi Mahi entrée was delicious and he highly recommends it! Interesting to note some previous reviews here include the resort itself - this review is strictly for the restaurant. First off, as a guest staying in one of the villas, it was a hassle getting a reservation as priority (rightly so) goes to hotel guests. When we were allowed access, the food itself was alright. It was a fixed price three course menu with several options for each course. My tuna tartare started looked funky - brown, but tasted quite nice. My main or roast beef was just ok, as was the coffee creme caramel. The cost was quite high based on our Canadian dollar. Service was attentive, and professional throughout thanks to James and Maxine. Beautiful setting of course. It’s fine dining Antigua style.
