Reviews on Fusion food in Coral Gables, Florida, United States. Boasting almost exclusively Mediterranean Revivalist buildings and urban planning following the City Beautiful movement, Coral Gables is an elegantly laid out, pedestrian-friendly city boasting tropical foliage, charming boutiques and architectural grandeur. Historic landmarks such as the Biltmore Hotel and Merrick House provide a document of the history of the City Beautiful, while the crystalline Venetian Pool provides relaxation in a setting of exquisite beauty.

PROs--convenient location-reasonably priced-very good food-very good services especially from Sergio. CONS-served a 2016 bad Chardonnay and then tried to push the Far Niente $96 dollar bottle. Did not offer the other options which were more reasonably priced... -added automatic 20% TIP to the ENTIRE bill for just two people dining... We raised the issue and let waiter know that typically tip is added to bill but does NOT include the tax and usually NOT for just two people. TERRIBLE so watch you bill and extra charges!ALL IN ALL though it was a very nice dining experience with very tasty food.

The website describes the inspiration for the concept: the Melbourne (Australia) café scene. We have indelible impressions of the aromas, flavors, and textures of the laneways off Flinders, and cafés in Fitzroy, St.Kilda and other neighborhoods in Melbourne. So the prospect that this might be the place to repeat the experience attracted us! We ordered a flat white and a long black, but they seemed a bit pale and lukewarm. The eggs lacked the voluptuousness and fluffiness we so fondly remembered. And they also left a bland impression on the palate. The toast was not toasty. Thereâs no need to mix feta into the avocado and the salmon scramble had a few bits of salmon thrown in - less than expected for the price. The service was friendly but a little slow. Lovely outdoor seating area but the metal furniture was not very comfortable (table crossbraces awkwardly block your knees and by the time breakfast is over you want to leap from the metal chair). Would have loved it if they made it, alas Miami is not Melbourne.

Lulu in the Grove is a funky neighborhood joint with a sophisticated vibe featuring globally influenced seasonal cuisine and infused drinks. Neighborfood.Lulu is a vision of what an outdoor sidewalk restaurant should be, where Commodore meets Main Highway
We went for brunch, a group of 6. It took forever to get drinks and appetizers and much longer for the food. When it finally arrived, my omelet and the bread were cold and other diners' plates were really small and lacking (the Lulu benedict was tiny and had only small slivers of chorizo). A small piece of baguette was extra and $5, the check far higher than the food and service we received. The server was nice but rushed and very overworked. It was also very hot inside the restaurant, unbearable at the end. The atmosphere is nice and it´s the grove, but we won't be back. I appreciate your feedback that helps us improve, and am truly sorry your experience was not as it should, and sincerely apologize. Please do reach out to me next time you are in the Grove so I can try make this up to you.Best,
